Shelab, you generally want wool, linen, or a few new synthetics that all wick the water, including/especially your sweat from your feet. Boots will protect from sea water, but not from sweat... And sweat leads to athelete's feet and worse toe fungus... which from my experience from wearing cotton socks too much in the cold winter is very hard to get rid of (my feet, right hand, knees all started getting very cold when I entered my mid 50's, thus I often wear thick socks or even two pair in winter... my house floor gets cold due to drafts) from the way the access to the bathroom and kitchen plumbing is set up -- I plan to replace the plumbing and finally fix the problem this summer.
There is no fall festival however that’s the next major update which is only a rumor which may be called the Fall formal which might have an outfit change.

As for me still 5 or so days until spring fling, max hearts with all current npcs, know all fav foods for anti-mules and current npcs, one item left for Lina's hubby (I am bad with names) to unlock and Tara to pay to build, all fish caught, 18 clothing designs to unlock on Violent's list, I am making each design at least once, but building up wool/cotton/silk between batches, keep unlocking the same dates with Wesley, so the new one must be unlocked after the Spring Fling. Using my harvest pots to maximize gloaming flower production and seed production... Need to cook every item so I can give to all current npcs, may not bother as two are gone so unable to complete the achievement... Fixed Natasha's charm issue as my last quest...
i wonder if the dev team behind wylde flowers has any asset packs available for godot and unity. the more i watch the game play out, the more i fall in love with the art direction and the assets used. it's toony but the mocaps make their animations so smooth. and the models seem like a nice balance between low and medium poly. oh and the hair physics are nice to watch
Bruno's two heart cutscene is gated until after Otto goes byebye -- I had been waiting for it since spring or summer of year 1, check the beach on his days off... I did not have issue with Giva, I think it was in the research station, but it has been a few weeks ago in real life and it may have been elsewhere.
Her teedy might be her aunt... it's what came to mind i thought 'auntie' I'm guessing granny would be something else 🤔 maybe i could connect the dots if I heard the slang.

Check the river up by Giva's station at the top of the mountain that's considered a river also..
