Thank you again, Liz, for your profuse and encouraging comments. It was all at Mt Wellington, except the night sky shots were from Seven Mile Beach. I was chasing Auroras and this beach is south-facing and in a national park. It was a beautiful clear night and people had shot Auroras there a few nights beflore, but someone pulled up near me and turned their llights off. I therefore threw my tripod into the car and got out of there in a hurry. Turns out it was also a pick-up spot. Have since learned of other more populated vantage points. Live and learn. @@meribahbrown3631 Yes, Miss Africa South is one of my smaller channels. I never go in there anymore. I opened most of these channels in about 2012 when I received two strikes back to back. So, that meant that I had one year of punishment from RUclips. I decided to disperse all my videos on separate channels in case I got a third strike and lost my channel. But, God is gracious. (^_^)

We here mainly know Tasmania from the Bugs Bunny character the Tasmanian Devil. I never realized what a beautiful place it is. I am not even sure what kind of animal Taz from the cartoon is... (or is there actually an animal called "the Tasmanian Devil" 😈?)
Yes, it is a beautiful island state. And yes, Tasmanian Devils are real and maybe in a zoo near you. They are gorgeous, but they and the Tasmanian Tiger, now extinct, were extinguished from mainland Australia when our indigenous people came here and brought the dingo. By that time, Tasmania had separated from the mainland so certain species were spared there. Devils are carnivores and eat carion. Strongest mammalian ( marsupial) jaws, rip yer hand off if you got between it and a corpse!! They have piercing growls, heard many in the night when there but only saw one dead beside the road.
