Hi Tom. Just found you and subscribed. I feel for you.when I was a kid, I lived in a woodland .it was a great place to play. Then, a few years later, the government decided to cut the whole woodland down, move the people, and build housing estate . I was gutted. And have never forgotten this. It still upsets to think about the trees and birds and other wildlife.i miss it so badly. All the best buddy
Every living creature on this planet, every living tree, bush, shrub and flower is part of the fabric of the tapestry that forms life on Earth. We as human beings the sooner realise this the better for us and for this unique jewel of a planet in the galaxy. I sometimes get close to tears thinking what we are doing to each other and to ths planet in the name of commerce, money, greed, power or ideology. You mentioned Adams. He championed conservation by his unsurpassed photographs of the natural landscape when conservationism was neither fashionable nor that anyone cared. We need people like him now more than any other time. Beautiful photography and very nice video. Thank you.

I feel the same when it turns out that my favorite forest place is gone. But that's what photography is for, to capture places and moments that change...

Some great woodland there still. I know the feeling when familier forest areas suddenly is gone. Not a good one
