Those new variants are scary this with Fear TWD and TWD World Beyond are gonna bring a new level of terror in the future spin offs and the Rick and Michonne spin off.
The knife was from when Lydia stabbed the Walker it stuck so she tried to use her stick and he grabbed onto her stick also He’s the same one who climbed up the roof and also the same one who probably climbed the fence and opened the gate for the others.
I’m sure they will wrap this show up nicely Some of the Things they are bringing in such as the variant Walkers will continue to be explained in the spin offs coming.
Granted they were 'fresh" but in season 1 they actually were running. Walkers that are fresh will have more recent memories such as knowing how to climb, open doors, go back to an area they 'remembered'. Like Jenner said the "you" part (which is why you don't mindlessly attack others) doesn't come back. So it stands to reason why the walker would 'remember' things like running or turning door knobs.
If you remember in season 8 Sasha stayed in the woods outside of Alexandria while the others fought of the saviors and it was because in her alive state she not only remembered the woods but she also spent time in there, so it makes sense that they'd find her still walking around there.
If the older walkers are showing these traits it means that Eugene was correct about the virus naturally evolving. The reason why we hadn't seen them that much is because the writers were more focused on making human threats instead of the undead.
However these variants have always existed in the background in one way. You have "lurkers" (walkers that 'sleep' and wait, thag's how Hershel was bitten), the typical "roamer", "floaters" (walkers trapped within a water filled area like the well back in season 2) etc. No spoilers but you guys should react to the spinoffs to see new variants
I understand that it is hard to see how this show is going to end This wouldn’t be a topic in the past since we always knew there was another Season My Fear is that the end will only be a teaser for the special spin off shows TWD hasn’t let me down so far therefore I’m trusting that they will end on a high note I keep picturing Rick in his final episode in Season 9 walking through everyone dead I’m so nervous to see what is going to happen.
Theres a thing called muscle memory, when muscles do things a lot the muscle can remember the activity without the brain. Thats why you practice sports over and over. So fresh walkers that still have muscle can do things.
They are bringing back Season 1 Walkers those Walkers who can climb open doors and carry rocks.
And back to Season 1 episode 1 and 2 Zombies could already turn doorknobs in the pilot episode and they had memories Think of Morgan’s wife Jenny The little Walker girl at the gas station Rick’s first kill had picked up a stuffed animal And in episode 2 in the department store the Zombies threw stones into the door windows to break through This idea was discarded and now true to the comics brought back In principle this is not a new storyline but simply the course of events Nothing to undo Only something that has the prospect of further development Life goes on even when this series ends just like the comics.
In season 1 a walker did climb.... when Rick and Glenn were covered in guts in the city trying to escape the department store... a walker climbed the fence just before they got to the truck. So yes, this episode showed all of those previous actions.
