i am happy i found this video, i have been searching for a properly explained vid like this on the web, thank you for this. i have a question because i am not used to coding, can you also run your EC2 using the cloudshell in the console? or you have to go through putty, if you are a microsoft user?
You should be able to use cloudshell to ssh into EC2 instance.

Hello, thanks for making a well understandable video of the process. It is of great help. I have one query, could be a small. When you write the last code to display it on the web page, the html one...could you tell me what did you write and how did you saved such that after refreshing page you get your message displayed.
I used linux vi editor.
$ vi index.html -> Opens up the file in editor
press i -> gets into insert mode
Now write your code
press esc
:wq -> This saves your file and quit the editor
Thats it.

Thanks for video. Am using windows workstation but in that am using git bash with pem. Here my doubt is pem we can use in linux work station right but it working in windown workstation as well. please help how?
Git bash is just an application that is simulating linux on top of Windows. The ppk is required while using native windows application like PuTTy or other terminal applications

G4 or p2/p3 instances are gpu based and generally good fit for heavy graphics apps. However its difficult to narrow down unless we know cpu, memory, disk iops and network throughput requirements
@@AWSwithChetan we currently use 64 gb ram with m5000 graphic card. We wanted to check if we have similer config available. Let me know if there is any contact whome we can reach out to im this regard. we are trying to move our production to Aws virtual workstations if its feasible.i tried checking in aws pricing calculator which is showing very high price.
hi chetan i need your help to resolve error . in the video sudo service httpd start in linux i am not able to run it but while if enter IP address in browser i am able to see the test page later i have written the command in sudo vi /var/www/html/index.html after refreshing browser also same test page no update . even after changing the security groups also please resolve for me. thank you chetan for your wonderful video making learnig AWS easy .
Follow all the steps again. Make sure your file has HTML content.
what if we launch 2 instances of 30gb..then is it chargeable...?
Total ec2 t2.micro hrs should not exceed 750 hrs a month. You can run 2 instances for 15 days and you should be good.

Sir as per the video, are there only 3 AZs in Mumbai Region?
Thats right. However note that single AZ comprise of further cluster of data centers.
what is KEM hypervisor [2:05]? Do you mean to say KVM hypervisor?
Yes KVM. Now AWS is launching new generation instances using custom hypervisor called Nitro systems.

Could you please clarify what is "My IP" under source you selected in security group?
This is a dynamic public IP which your ISP allocates to your home router so that you can access internet. So Security group automatically detects this IP when you choose MyIP and then only allow the connection from this IP.

Check security group attached to EC2 instance. If trying from office laptop, firewall may block outbound 22 (ssh) network port.
