kVp and Contrast

hello, im confused on why a chest x ray is considered an high subject contrast, but it uses a high kVp of 110-125kVp. also, why abdomen x ray is considered low subject contrast even though it uses lower kVp then a chest?
my thoughts about kvp and contrast is.
high kvp= low subject contrast
low kVp= high subject contrast

With a chest xray you are trying to highlight the difference between air and flesh. Bone work tries to get the best contrast between bone and flesh
