dare I say to the 4.3 people who my stumble on this post I think this is one of the greatest pop / rock songs ever........................eaten with vegemite and earl grey yay enz
I love this album. So totally different from anything else being released at the time. The fact the songs stand up to this day is a tribute to their craftsmanship.
Absolutely. I call the early enz the "Harlequins" purely from an Art/Soundspace (not even appearance wise) but they really peak at this point. This album is SO out of of time it's unbelievable. It's nothing like any thing of the era at the time, it's almost like they were in a vacuum of their own.
First time hearing this from S.E. Wow what a wee ripper! I so preferred the boys when they performed a bit more 'heavier-rockier' as it were. I didn't like many of their 'flakier' i.e. lighter less bass and flaky guitar stuff as it was in my opinion. Their best work with their heavier sound is 'Give It A Whirl' that I have always believed is their best work ever but that's just me.
Adore this song.
