There’s definitely some carps who won’t help. I got my stuff laminated at a place and the guy was popular east coast shaper in 90’s and would never give any advice or help
Love your work mate! 🤙 Similar to a previous question on rails, you did a great job at being scientific about dimensions. I was wondering if you are taking measurements or shooting for particular/measured angles when considering rocker, rails and concave? It looked like a fair bit was by feel or previous knowledge, so I'm curious as a newbie.
I go entirely by what I have done in the past and try to correct the undesirable aspects of the board little by little. I eyeball everything to what looks like it will correct my problems and use a few tools to keep track of my changes which could be rockers, rails thickness and so on.
I get kinda lost in the sauce after your first rail band on the rail shaping video, any chance you can do a more in depth one? Sorry It’s so hard to find good tutorials like yours.
Yes I can. I’m going to be starting a subscription soon too where I’ll be doing q&a sessions and personal instruction. When I do the next board I’ll make sure to go further in-depth on that part of the process.
Thanks again for your video ! For people living in Australia ( East coast ) I think Richard Harvey does shaping class . He’s a legendary surfer shaper and a really nice guy. 🕺🏽
I'm triggered by the fact you have a dog on your lap - that's what cats are for. Dogs should be running around outdoors, chasing cars and getting into people's trash.
It was an amazing serie, please think about a long board one. Greetings from Chile! 🇨🇱🤘
Jimi Hendrix actually faked his own death and reinvented himself as Morgan freeman. it’s no joke guys.
any update on the glassing series? loved the shaping one! big ups from the UK
Thanks so much🤙 Our next video will be the start of it, glassing on a fin so stay tuned!

The first time I went into a glass shop I came out crying… hhahah I don’t touch stuff anymore 😂
I JUST PUT A KEV SKAVARNA FIN ON MY 9' 6" sq tail and it changed the board completely no need for a new shape change your FIN!

I’m triggered by the fact that you think that statement was a valid opinion 🤝
