Looks like you need to take a grinder and clean those welds off your weld table so everything can lay flat again. Just a thought
what is the thickness of the square tube

one tire is mounted backward
the left side tire is still mounted backwards even though you went to all the trouble to disassemble it for painting

That raw material deserved better workmanship.
I'm build a similar drift trike and like some of these ideas.. however the welding style is kinda strange, just a bunch of tack welds lined up. With a decent welding machine, it's pretty easy to lay down a continuous bead.. this is not sheetmetal.

where did you purchase the axle?
I too would like to know where you got the axle from… or where I could get similar axles if anyone has any recommendations.
What size bare the tires ?
If you measure your mounting holes from your motor you won’t have to hog out your holes later to adjust
I’m assuming it’s for the chain tension, you can slide the engine forward to tighten the slack

So many things I see wrong, first you're so worried about safety, with safety glasses and hearing protection and a respirator, but yet you wear shorts and flip-flops while welding, second of all, that is not a drift trike, a drift trike has slicks on the back tires for drifting

To be fair I've welded in shorts and sandles before. Its fine if your only doing a bit of welding. The sparks are only mildly annoying (unless a big blob of molten steel gets spat back) and you won't get sunburnt from just welding one part
But you never noticed he put the tires on backwards.

Flops and shorts...and this isnt a drift anything! Its a 3 wheeler.
