Hi Salar! I’m glad you spoke a bit about sizing of images. As a photographer, I am keenly aware of image resolution, file size, and aspect ratio so that in and of itself is not a problem for me. But I do struggle with what size my image resolution should be on a website. I think you said your images for this tutorial are 600x400, right? And that works so well for the image slider. But do you have a recommendation for what sizes to use generally? For example, I’m never sure if I should use 450x300, 570x760, or 800x600 (these are only examples meant to keep in mind the aspect ratio). If you have done a tutorial on this in the past, please let me know…. I deeply appreciate all the teaching you share. I’m going to work on this image slider tutorial later today… as always, thanks again. Cheers!
You surprised me again, waoo photographer :) Do you host any image gallery somewhere on the web? I'm sorry for a late reply and you better know the job 'teaching'. I become infected with Covid just before the start of the spring term, and now it has been one month and I'm still trying to catch up the work and the pace. Okej, there are some sizes which are standard, for example, recommended size for header is 1024px wide, for background you can have 1920px * 1080 and for logo 250px * 100px. Moreover images can be in different sizes based on where you wanna place them. Another very important factor is image optimization, i.e. choosing the right format and compression. If optimization is not carefully done, the site load time increased. Thanks, will do! Keep watching JS. I have some time over the weekend and will do another tutorial on creating automated image slider. Thanks for giving me the feedback.
