Even in ordinary places, you can find something special. If it is special to you, then it is a precious treasure.
My parents' house in Ibaraki Prefecture is located on the outskirts of Tokyo's bedroom community. It's not quite rural, but not exactly urban either; it's a halfway place. During my life living in two different locations, I have been able to find unexpected joys and pleasures in this ordinary place.
There is no such thing as a place that seems to be everywhere, no, there isn't. I want to embrace the precious things that are here and now.
