the big part about this team is that they're having fun, sure maybe if they weren't doing as well they wouldn't be having as much fun but keeping it light hearted, laughing, and having fun are major boosts to the mental and really helps keep down the stress of always being in high pressure situations. Sounds even stupider listening to the ref walk up and go "uhhhhhhhh sniper has flip flops and thats not allowed to play a computer game". Some rules are just really dumb. Imagine telling a pro player who is bringing YOU (riot) views, that he cant wear open toed shoes. Yeah those things are really dangerous to those around him while he sits for 30 minutes. The NBA and NFL, pro sport leagues where footwear actually matters, allow their players more independence than riot in comparison............
@@cheddarbob6062I could also see it has a potential hazard issue with all the steps and pathways in the building. If their flops cause them to fall there could potentially be legal action depending on the situation

So its hard to believe its just professionalism. As I type this though, I think I found the answer. Its for health reasons.
