2010b did not have Apps, they came into MATLAB starting R2012b. DEPLOYTOOL is the way to go for your version. Otherwise, you could upgrade.

I made a similar kind of .exe in windows and now i want to run it on ubuntu but i am unable to do it. I tried using wine but its still not working
