      @@JamesCookUMA Hi James, thank you very much. I'm still having difficulty organizing a matrix where Target and Source are correlated (they are nodes in an undirected network), but I need to organize them in a p x p matrix. Do you have a video for this?

      @@userd062 Hi. When you say Target and Source are correlated, you don't mean there is a statistical correlation between their properties, but instead mean that target and source are related to each other. Is that a correct interpretation?

      @@JamesCookUMA Sorry for the confusion. I used those terms to describe significant associations between correlated microorganisms. I found a way, thank you very much

    Dr. Coook, How do I create a one-mode network from two-mode weighted networks? Is there any way to do that in excel ?

      Hi. What's the theory behind your idea?

    • @விராஜ்குமார்
      @விராஜ்குமார் 8 лет назад

      Well I am working on online forum data. In that thread and user are the nodes and connection are weighted by no. of time user talked in a thread.

      Hello. That's already one mode data. There is one kind of object: the node. There is one kind of connection: # times user talks on a thread.

      Sir, In an online forum, anyone can start a thread. So a person starts a thread and others can reply in that thread. There are more than one thread. Threads dont talk to each other and users can't talk to each other directly so its like Davis's South Western Women Event dataset without weights. In our case an user can reply to a thread more than ones which is considered as weights.
