All the information online about their teaching style I read as well before starting there, but I would like to say that now I don't feel like it's true at all. We do a lot of talking too and from what I have heard from my friends at Sogan, Yonsei is more fast paged and more difficult. I would say level 3/4 at Sogan is equivalent to level 2 in Yonsei. "do you have to be attending a college in the states"? You really asked this Q? Do you think that only American college students can go to language schools in Korea? Possibly the most parochial question I have ever seen on YTube.
The intensive language programs at these universities are separate from the standard university curriculum. So you're not enrolling at that university as much as you are enrolling in that particular program. So no, you don't need to be attending a university in your home country, and if you are you likely won't find these programs attached to any of the exchange programs. However, if you ARE interested in using these programs to fulfill some foreign language credits, you should talk with your study abroad office and academic advisor to see if they can manage it. That's what I did at my university at two different programs. Once in the Korean Language Institute at Yeungnam University in Daegu, and again at Sogang University (which you see in the video). You don't get actual grades like your normally would with classes, but the people who run the program and pass along how much time you were in class with a general report on your performance, and your advisers can likely exchange that into college level language credits.
So did they use the Topik for the end-of-semester exams at all the schools? What about older adult students? Are there student clubs for older students?
Three questions: 1) is he Korean American? Just wondering if that played into his reception there. 2) why do sooo many Koreans have dimples? Is this a beauty standard that people look for? 3) So... are y'all gonna date?? You seemed really into him, he's cute, and he seemed to like you too... 🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿
