10 minutes in and I already wrote down a couple of things to use in the future. Great talk, thank you!

Omg! I really wanted to see your talk, since the first time I kinda understood the beauty of pipes 😮. I love your work, thanks for the video! ❤

This was a fantastic talk. Thanks a lot Gabriella!
I recently started learning Haskell and monad transformers are a bit magical for me. I got a bit concerned about the idea of a God Monad, mainly due to how many badly designed OO apps end up having a handful of unmanageable classes/objects.

Great talk, and nice to see research from the early 1990-ties still being alive and kicking!

While the intro to MaybeT was useful, it's unfotrtunate that all these introductory details aren't part of the official hackage docs of the package. It would be much easier to convince a broader audience to stick with the language learning if I could send them the link to that documentation section instead of a random conference talk on the subject matter. It's not that the talk isn't good enough, it's the perception of the outsiders that the ecosystem isn't good enough so that it requires referencing youtube talks.

I like that you bolded the key idea. SPJ recs that in a talk on how to give a talk

WriterT also has a non-broken implementation on hackage. Though you’re better off with the “these” package, as the These monad does errors/logging much better.
