    Very useful video. Reached it thanks to Hiro imafuji link. To store my kendogu between kendo courses, can I pack it the way you did at the end of the video? With the men into the do and kote on the sides. I mean it's a neutral position which allow to gain space to store it at home without causing harm to the fabrics in the long term? Thanks :)

      Great question - yes, you can pack your gear away like this without worrying about causing harm to the fabric or stitching over time. The primary cause of damage, however, is storing kendo equipment while it is still wet! So please ensure that you dry your gear (and stretch out the leather as shown here and in our other videos) before your store it away!
