Thank you for wearing a mask despite not wanting to. Modeling positive response to the pandemic is very important. After all, we want you and others at these historic places to stay alive! I'm a loyal watcher and you've helped cement my faith that we will all get through this, but only if we're together in the fight! Be sure to wash your hands! Peace.

Before the pandemic, showing up in that mask would make someone think it was a stick up. Loved the museum. Sergeant York the movie is wonderful. York wpuld only allow Gary Cooper to play him and the girl who played his wife
had to be a young good girl. Cooper won the Oscar for it.

Very interesting and well made video as always. That clacker at 13:56 - when I was living in the UK as a teenager these were known as a football rattle - fans used them to make noise when cheering on their teams. I actually made one in woodworking class when I was around 13. I believe they were banned as they could be used as weapon and in those days "football hooligans" and mass fights were common at games. Interesting that they used them in the trenches...I didn't know that!

I always enjoy your video traveloges so much. Thank you. Seeing the KKK robe brought back a very disturbing memory. I'm 67 now, but when I was 19 and fairly newly married, my ex and I lived just off downtown Dallas, TX. One weekend he went camping with some friends, so I was home alone. About 2:00 AM I woke up to the sound of a repetitive drumbeat and saw a flickering light outside our duplex window. I peeked out and marching down the middle of the street was a KKK clan, beating drums and carrying torches. Other than that it was eerily quiet. The area we lived in was very racially diverse and I can only imagine how frightening it was to some of my neighbors. I'm white, but my parents raised me to understand the evil of slavery, racism and the KKK. To say I was disturbed is definitely an understatement. I wasn't normally afraid of being alone, but I didn't sleep another wink that night.
