You’re doing what 99.999% of dirt bike rider wish they could do. It shows how difficult it is to be a top 20 or top 30 guy is. You’re doing so amazing without any real help. 👍
No matter what, you're chasing your dream, win or lose. These are days you'll remember forever and will shape you into the man you become. Keep on keepin' on JWalk.
That ride in the LCQ was great man. Way to work through the pack. The track is not a joke, yeehaw. Hard pass on trying to go fast on that! Thank you to your pops for getting some footage for us. Much appreciated. Insane what a difference no hole shot device makes! Hate that the moto finished like that, but so glad you were safe and it wasn’t worse man. You’ll regroup and come out swinging in Indiana!
Jeff, first of all glad to hear you avoided any serious injury out of that mech issue. Second, a BIG shout out to all those behind the scene that are there supporting you! (Bridge, your dad, your mechanic, and ML!! as well as many others) Once again enjoy all your vids as they show a guys determination and effort as a privateer to compete at such a high level! many of us can only dream of such.Looking forward to hearing more about the 2020 bikes. Keep your chin up, give R the beans at Indy!
I had a chain break one time in the air in the exact same way at Millville once on the Chadapault. Chain broke mid air after I shifted up and like you said, racked my chest on the bar and then had no power, everything felt like I was in neutral. I was super confused, but like you said, if that had happened like 100 yards earlier that could've been seriously dangerous. Glad you made it out virtually unscathed!
Hey Jeff I was the kid in the tld Ktm hat just wanted to say thanks for being so cool man I’ve been watching sense the beginning but couldn’t subscribe until a few months great work and I’ll make sure to cheer you on when I see you again👍🏽
Your riding style reminds me of a friend I grew up with named Mike Young who was one of the guys that never crash. He was mid to back of the pact for a full season or so, and then like a light switch that changed, he was constantly toward the front from that point on. I think the same is going to happen for you. When he flipped that switch how ever he managed to do that, it was a huge improvement about a 30 - 40 % improvement.
Same thing happened with my 08 a few months ago but alls we needed was the clip. It messed up the swingarm with a dent but it was fine. I went over a jump at my uncle's friend's house and my Suzuki did the same thing your honda did but it broke the crankshaft in half. But I should have it back in a few weeks. It's been 2 or 3 months but i have an injury to deal with anyways. Everything happens for a reason tho. Glad the Lord above was watching out for you dude yew!!🤘
Well done man! Head up! You are putting a big effort into it. Some days are good, and some are bad. But you are doing well... From the outside, it all looks a lot easier. But from the inside, it is hard work what you are doing!! All my support, as always!!!
You rode to the limit of your machine- awesome. Being a privateer is way harder than factory or semi-factory support, especially when it comes to parts breaking. Never heard of a holeshot device engaging during a moto- glad you weren't hurt. Wonder if the front sprocket came loose or the shaft or something broke. Bummer- glad you're okay.
Hi Jeff, I'm a newbie in motocross living and riding in Ukraine (also on the Honda CRF 450 2009 Honda), always watching your videos and rooting for you. I hope you will be noticed by the breeders of the factory team and you will get a cool factory bike and be able to show a cool result and compete with other TOP riders such as the AC92. Good luck!
Love your videos and your journey. You inspired me to start my own on a different level but still going to work hard and have fun nonetheless! Crazy i had same sprocket go and got lucky myself. Only a sprained ankle but it was warn out and my own fault for riding it in the shape it was. Glad you’re okay!
Brother keep your head up and don't let the bad days get you down. Your a MONSTER rider, just keep plugging away. Love watching your videos - killer race, the title made me nervous and was relieved you didn't have some horrendous crash! Keep giving em' hell man!!
Really sorry what happened,Jeff.Glad you did not get hurt.Is this a common thing on the Honda?? They are usually bullitproof?Get it fixed and come back strong!Hi to Bridgette
keshmo12 yeah especially the fact that he’s on dirt you think the weak point in the drive train would be the rear wheel spinning on the ground, not the countershaft sprocket shearing off. That’s the last thing I’d expect to break
That could have been so bad!! Glad you're all good and ready to rip the next race. My season is over early. I overshot the upper triple at Thunder Valley by like 30 feet at my my last race and broke my back. I'm lucky to be walking. I hope to ride next season though.
Jeff don't apologize, your putting in the work and your growing every time the gate drops its really cool to see. Look at the progress that you've made over the past year!
Damn lucky man! I’ve had my countershaft bolt snap once and back all the way out twice, even with the guard still in place, the bolt came all the way out... I’ve used every loctite there is! Each time it happened I was in a high speed situation also; so for that rear wheel to seize is scary as shit. Unfortunately, because I love the brand, I was on a Honda... Good luck man and good to hear you are putting school ahead of the last couple of races!
I was looking forward to see you at Budds Creek, I am working as a flag man for a local club that volunteers for that race but I guess school is more important, keep your chin up and hope to see you at another time
Compared to the top guys i feel like you should shift up way more often in the long straights and fast sections. Sounds like you rev the bike a lot but it makes you slower when the fast guys are putting less throttle but with more speed. Unless you're 5th gear already... It's something i have noticed on a lot of your videos. Not trying to teach you anything maybe it's just me but i think it's worth saying ! I ride a 450 FC 2020
Man, that definitely was sketchy. If it had gone another way...you were going over the bars. Glad to see it worked out okay, but keep on ripping it dude..good luck at Indiana!
First, glad you didn't get hurt and I enjoy your vlogs. What I wonder is what did all the greats do before holeshot devices? Maybe practice some old school starts for just such an occasion. Keep the shiny side up👍
This is my favorite track to race (i do cross country so im half on the track half in the back woods). The one year the rain was terrible and no one could get out of the ruts to hit the bank because the bank had about 2ft of mud under it (not guarantee but my guess because i got stuck)
Holeshot devices should be banned in pro racing. If everyone uses it there's no advantage and only makes the starts easier for the riders so less separation between them.
@canuckguy worried that's not correct. They lower the bike's center of gravity and prevent any rebound stroke which physically reduces the forces required to loop out the bike. This translates to higher thresholds of power before looping out happens. Good start techniques don't matter as much now which is a shame because things that separate riders and shows off their strengths make racing more exciting to watch. It's not the biggest deal in the world to me but my opinion is that they should just be taken out of professional racing since they don't add anything of value to the spectators.
@canuckguy worried I just don't think we will have another consistent holeshot master like Mike Alessi if the riders are provided these crutches. It's the same idea behind banning launch control and abs. Of course holeshot devices aren't as effective so it's not as big of a deal.
I got worried about what happened when I was watching,i was on the hill right in fron of where you pulled off the track. I was the kid with the long hair and fox muscle shirt
Hey man new to your channel and I just started riding, I’ve rode 6 times and I decided to race a fair race and was just rolling jumps and tried to hit a double and messed it up but I’m 20 and just starting so it’s hard asf but I’m gonna try my best man. Ride red🤙🏻
Im just glad ur aigjt bro it couldve been SOOOOO much worse. Regardless you are on avg one of the TOP 30 fastest 250 racers in the entire US, just take that in lol. Thats ridiculously huge and an amazing achievement on its own...so dont let the issues this weekend bring u down. Hope ur able to race supercross this winter but if not we always have next year. Youve done amazing this year man dont get down on urself!!

First or last gate your in the National when the people commenting aren’t!
Jeff!!! Glad your fine man. Your results will pay off one day, just be strong💪💪
I had a chain break one time in the air in the exact same way at Millville once on the Chadapault. Never be disappointed or sorry man. You give it 100 everytime. My heart was racing watching your LCQ. Great riding overall. Live to ride another day!!
Hey Man, Great effort ! No reason a countershaft sprocket should come loose. Mechanicals like
that should not happen. Somebody not paying attention.
keep your head up man, keep pushing. we are all behind you overstep of the way!!!
Hey Jeff I was the kid in the tld Ktm hat just wanted to say thanks for being so cool man I’ve been watching sense the beginning but couldn’t subscribe until a few months great work and I’ll make sure to cheer you on when I see you again👍🏽

That could have been really bad. Man up stairs was watching out. Staying safe to race another day is always a good thing. Good luck next round.
I was cheering for you all day! I must have been standing right next to your video guy near gravity cavity. Sorry you had a rough weekend
Same thing happened with my 08 a few months ago but alls we needed was the clip. It messed up the swingarm with a dent but it was fine. I bet a lot of people will agree you have a huge chance at this, don't stop. Focus on your dream man... You got this
Thank you! As long as I'm able to keep chasing, I'll be out there trying my hardest
Jeff Walker that's what I like to hear brother. Don't think racing right now is just something you did when you were young. Think big!
Keep it going bud. Stay strong, results are really showing!
Glad your safe, that was a close one.. nice riding look forward to seeing how you get on at Indiana 👍🏻
Just crazy that Jeff has come so far in his pro pursuite. He keeps getting better and better too
Well done man! Head up! You are putting a big effort into it. Some days are good, and some are bad. But you are doing well... From the outside, it all looks a lot easier. But from the inside, it is hard work what you are doing!! All my support, as always!!!
Would be sick to see you in the 125 allstar race
You could of made the title “ I WAS IN 1ST AND MY BIKE BROKE” with Adam passing u
That would've been funny af😂
You rode to the limit of your machine- awesome. Being a privateer is way harder than factory or semi-factory support, especially when it comes to parts breaking. Super awesome to see you ride at Dilla in person, keep it up jwalk your the man

For real did he ask the geico and hrc teams ? Hes repn Honda at a pro national wtf
cant believe you still have a very positive attitude. after a bad day
Love your videos and your journey. You inspired me to start my own on a different level but still going to work hard and have fun nonetheless! Crazy i had same sprocket go and got lucky myself. Holy cow, never seen or even heard of a countershaft sprocket shearing off;
Never seen anything like that happen either. Guardian Angels are real.
Never seen it on a dirt bike but happens sometimes on high horsepower street bikes. Kinda crazy that a 50-60 horsepower bike could do that.
keshmo12 yeah especially the fact that he’s on dirt you think the weak point in the drive train would be the rear wheel spinning on the ground, not the countershaft sprocket shearing off. That’s the last thing I’d expect to break
Really like your riding style mate. Wish you better luck for the race cob!!
Really glad your okay you are very grateful to be okay. Love your vids
Glad your okay man, Keep trucking and all the hard work will pay off!
Never heard of you before today but man I was rootin for ya! I'm a fan forever.

Keep it running.... Sure next time will be way better! Vamos!
Screw what everyone else thinks or says. I don’t see them out there getting it done. Good job bro.
7 to 8 seconds off the leaders sounds like an eternity, but the harder you work the closer you'll get. Don't fucking quit!
Made the mains, well done mate 👍
Shame about the bike issues
Congratulations on making it to Unadilla Ride Safe man!
Thank goodness you okay Jeff👍🏽 Well done bro, you are killing it🔥 Keep it up bro❤️🤙🏽 Any ideas on maybe doing supercross?😉

Dang man, with you were going to budds, I was looking forward to meeting you!
I actually got to see you race over the weekend and it was pretty sick. Good luck with the rest of your season.
Damn lucky man! I’ve had my countershaft bolt snap once and back all the way out twice, even with the guard still in place, the bolt came all the way out... I’ve used every loctite there is! Can't catch a break man! Good job getting as far as you did!
you were freaky fast at the dilla
I was there and had no idea that was you! I’ve always watched a few of your vids and subbed a while back but never really followed the 250 class
Love the vids man!! Keep them coming!!!
Thank goodness you were not injured due to that unforeseen mechanical issue! That could have been so much worse.
Hahaha “yikes”
We’ve all been there bro 😂 love the videos!
Track side video Unadilla excellent 👊
I was watching one of your vlogs when you posted
Glad you are safe bud🙏
Damn bro, wanted to see you at budds.

@@motofreak2772 Mike Alessi Used Holeshot devices?
You were not messin around on the pass for 6th. Made quick work of him.
Good luck at Indiana, hope ur alright!
You should come and ride in iowa sometime. There this track called oakridge mx, it's a fun track probably the one best tracks in the midwest.
Saw you when your bike broke live bro. I paused and went back to check it was you!

Glad your OK, WOW!
Didnt the axle come loose a little while back too? Might wanna do double bolt checks ( obv i dont know exactly why sprocket came off, just seems odd)
I saw that happen, I was one of the spectators obviously. The only issue is I didn’t get it on film. I got the rest of the race tho up on my channel.
Glad you’re ok!
Wow 😲, mate you are sooo lucky 🙏 if that happened on face of jump 😩🤯 I wouldn’t be disappointed at all , man you would of been in hospital 🏥
had that happen stuffs sketchy glad ur alright could have been gnarly
Thanks bro! Super fortunate for sure. Could have been a very different ending to my day
I got worried about what happened when I was watching,i was on the hill right in fron of where you pulled off the track. I was the kid with the long hair and fox muscle shirt
We were cheering so loud once you passed that kid to place 4th
Dude that was the sickest lcq race
Hey man new to your channel and I just started riding, I’ve rode 6 times and I decided to race a fair race and was just rolling jumps and tried to hit a double and messed it up but I’m 20 and just starting so it’s hard asf but I’m gonna try my best man. Ride red🤙🏻
