There are a lot of good veg places up in Kamla Nagar where I had the kadhi chawal, and so grabbed a rickshaw to the metro and made my way back up to East Delhi. Although I didn't find exactly the place I was looking for, I instead found a nice little Bihar tea stall, with not only an incredibly friendly owner, but also super hospitable students who were also enjoying their meal. They called me in and treated me like an old friend, offering their seat, and just making me feel at home. It was a really fun time.

Did you consider the situation? He was a foreigner, he didn't know much. They tried to be as helpful as they could in that moment and typically, it takes time to calibrate.
It's not a westerner sitting with a westerner thing living their normal life. Both are from completely different worlds. Of course they are gonna be curious.
After all that, they actually left first. They had to go somewhere. They met someone from different place, it was interesting for them.

This has been one of the most wholesome videos from your channel. (All your videos are). Chris you are tapping into the most beautiful aspects of this country's culture. Most of the tourists that have ever been here, haven't gotten the feel of this land as well as you are getting. You find little children giggling about their day. You can really think about the Bihari shopkeeper working in Delhi, and the gentlemanly students, Shiv and Asif, being from Hindu and Muslim cultures, hanging out as brothers, in spite of the religious and cultural divides which plague not just this country but the world. Great videos! There's lots of other RUclipsrs in India (and other countries) but your personality, humility, humour and humbleness make you infectious to watch. Your Hindi's great after a year, you've even picked up the mannerisms and familiar with food and culture. When we travel as tourists from London we've always come across taxi drivers who try and overcharge, or just take the 'scenic' route if on meter. This has happened in India, Mexico, Dubai, Cairo, Morocco, NY and other countries. As you know you'll come across all sorts of people across all walks of life. I understand the language, but like the subtitles even when they are not conversing with you, haven't seen others do that. Keep up the great work!!
