Great trail. The views and campsites along the way would be way nice for a trip. Beautiful views and vistas up on the skyline. I have not traveled this route yet. Looks pretty. Take care.
Thank you for sharing. The Mrs and I are staying in Manti 4 nights this month. Looking for 2 night lodging north of Manti. Haven't ridden north of Manti so far. We're considereding Mount Pleasant. Looks like a great area to stay and ride.
Did this ride in 1st part of October 2020. Was the 2nd ride in the new to us, SxS. So beautiful but the wind got bad once we hit top. Been there twice since just not in the fall.
On our trip to the Arapeen Trail System in Sept., 2021, we stayed 7 nights at the Pleasant Creek RV Resort, and the only way to access the trail system from there is to ride about 5 miles on county and city roads to Trail 41. We traversed Mount Pleasant Canyon 6 times during that part of our stay. It is indeed a pretty ride, even though it's more of a road than a trail, and about the bottom half is through private land. You don't really realize how steep the canyon is going up, but coming down you see how steep the grade is. Do you happen to know the story behind the memorial to Staff Sgt. Joshua M. Twitchell, USMC, near the top of Trail 41, Mark?
You definitely know the canyon well after 6 trips up and down it. Another option would have been to go through Mt Pleasant then south into Spring City and up Spring City Canyon. Spring City canyon is absolutely more beautiful in my opinion, but you would have had to drive about 12 miles on paved roads to get there. Staff Sgt. Joshua M. Twitchell was killed in 2021, in an unfortunate ATV rollover close to where the memorial was placed by his family and friends.
@@TodaysOutdoorAdventure Thank you for your reply. We thought the accident was something like that. As an aside, have you ridden the Manti Sheep Trail? It takes off next to the Sheriff's Office and goes all the way to Skyline Drive. That was an "interesting" ride, with lots of rock and pretty steep inclines, but fun nevertheless.
That is a beautiful trail. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it! Have a great day!

Mt Pleasant is a great place to stay with easy access to the trails. Safe travels.
Bringing the cool to RUclips!
Thank you very much!
Another on the to-do list.
Maybe we will see you there! 😀

It is especially beautiful in the spring and fall. Thanks for your reply.

@@fredross8182 I have come down parts of the Sheep Trail but not up yet. It is definitely in the video plans for spring.
@@TodaysOutdoorAdventure The bottom end of the trail is pretty rocky, but still a good ride. It should make for a great video.
