I actually remember playing this game at a kids' haircut place, of all places. It had TVs where kids could play games and/or watch DVDs when they were getting their hair cut. The actual location is long gone now, but I remember playing this very game (I believe on PS2) at that haircut place when I was very little.
Had the PS2 version as a kid. It’s actually the oldest surviving save file I have on a PS2 memory card, having been last updated in July 2005. If I remember correctly, the PS2 version is not much different from the Xbox version, I think the Xbox version only has a slight edge in graphics and load times. I did later play the Xbox version for a Let’s Play…and it resulted in some heavy rage moments
This game was a nightmare on the PS2 for me. I hated the puzzles so much. I couldn’t even finish the game because I was getting frustrated because of them. And I was about 5 or 6 when I got this in 2007 (or 2008). And apparently I knew how to get frustrated at a movie tie-in video game. I haven’t played it in a long while (mainly because I don’t have a PS2 anymore), but I will still have bad memories of playing this game.
As a fan of the Finding Nemo movie I still enjoyed this game it's not great it has flaws but it's still fun. My favorite versions of the game out of the three console ports and the PS2 and Xbox versions because the load times are much quicker than the GameCube and both the PS2 and Xbox versions run at a consistent 60fps.
I will admit, a lot of movies and shows I watched as a kid are just better as an adult anyway so I enjoy them more now than I did back then, so we're in the same boat
I played this game all the time on PS2 and was surprised that nobody talked about it online. I see you do a lot of licensed movie games, which makes me happy since that was pretty much all I played on my PS2 as a kid until I got good taste lol
Apparently the terrible loading times on GC are because of a glitch and the issue was fixed in Player's Choice copies of the game, where the load times are much closer to the Xbox version. However, it still has a terrible framerate so you still want to avoid that version.
Damn, I'm anxious to see how you view The Incredibles game. I have history with that game. My parents bought it for me on PC, I installed it and was met with a blistering 2FPS. It was so bad that in button mashing sections, I had to slow down my button mashing cause the framerate would drop my inputs of I was too fast, it was like giving CPR to my keyboard. That was the first time in my life I really felt why framerates mattered. I still managed to persevere to the 4th level or so, but I had to give up and get my parents to buy a new graphics card for me. That's how I learned that Integrated graphics cards are the devil
10:32 I never actually got to the submarine because the section where you bounced on mines really got me stuck, I just wasn't good at moving so I would bounce on a mine too much and die
I absolutely hated this game, I played it around the time I first got my GameCube from a retro video game store around 2014 and just thought it looked and played terrible. The best thing about this game for me was the clips ripped from the movie. I also did play Disney Friends around the time I got my first video game console the DS. That game did feature Dory, but I never got far enough to interact with her.
The only Finding Nemo game I had came with Incredibles GBA and it was called Finding Nemo The Continued Adventures and its was a mini game compilation with the Tank Gang and one of the cast helping them get back to the reef
I remember really wanting to get the full game after playing a demo at Disney's Epcot Center back in 2nd grade. Looking at some gameplay vids of it, it seems like a pretty repetitive game, although the graphics and music are quite nice! Makes me think of Ecco the Dolphin, minus that game's difficulty and the Eldritch Abomination bosses from that game.
From what I've heard the gamecube load times were really bad on the 1.0 release and were greatly improved on the 1.1 release. If you buy a players choice version I believe you're guaranteed to get 1.1. But OG Xbox is DEFINITELY the best version. I have the OG Xbox version and it runs great
You’re absolutely correct! The loading on 1.1 is a huge improvement across the board! The loading on 1.0 is simply atrocious, the worst on the console. I happen to own both 1.0 and 1.1, and another difference I’ve noticed is the frame rate cap. 1.0 is 30FPS, while 1.1 is 60FPS. That said, the frame rate drops equally as bad on both. I honestly don’t know what happened, the GameCube should’ve easily coped with this type of game. I’d say it’s the worst port of a game on the system. But yeah, the Xbox version is definitely the best version to play, though PS2 is no slouch either.
Awesome video as usual, I like this movie too, I’m surprise that it has games and tt games did it (because I never played it), but they made toy story 2 so I don’t need to worry too much
I don't know how that's an insult exactly? Dreamcast holds up pretty well and had some decent hardware to boot. If you don't believe me just compare the gamecube and dreamcast versions of the sonic adventure games, they are more impressive on the dreamcast
This game use too freak me out cuz its outta know ware jumpscares marlin getting eaten by the angler fish getting shock to death and the angler fish appeares outta know where
On the Gamecube this was more like "Loading" The Game.

Yep had it on GameCube, beat it even. But there were times when I wondered if the disc was gonna explode trying to load it
i remember sitting there waiting for it to load, i haven’t played it since 2008.
Dude this is crazy because my very first movie I saw in theaters was actually finding Dory🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

I'm glad im not the only one that thought it was hard, As a kid I could never get passed the first couple of stages,

I know that music dosen't play in the cutscenes that are in-engine on Xbox and GameCube

great review as always!

Easily one of the hardest games I ever played. Never been able to beat it. Great video.

There is actually an updated version of the Gamecube port of the Finding Nemo game that has shorter load times known as version 1.01.
I have a hard time remembering my childhood too, but I believe the first movie I saw in theaters was the original SpongeBob SquarePants Movie

FAILURE
YOU COULDN’T SWIM THROUGH ALL THE RINGS
There's nothing more annoying than a difficulty curve
The only Finding Nemo game I had came with Incredibles GBA and it was called Finding Nemo The Continued Adventures and its was a mini game compilation with the Tank Gang and one of the cast helping them get back to the reef
Actually love this game and finding Nemo is my favorite movie of all time still have this game lol
I actually prefer the Shark Tale game over Finding Nemo, because the difficulty is a little more forgiving than the Finding Nemo game

Finding Nemo game need a remaster onPS5

I had this on the PS2 and i never completed this game! Because it was that hard 😂 I always ended up restarting it to just play the beginning 😅
Ofc I just bought the GameCube version
Still got this in its case
I remember I play this game on the Xbox one time ago, but I never could get past the submarine level 😭
I think the very first movie I saw in Theaters was Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
I wish the other Disney and Pixar point 'n' click games were available on Steam, not just Finding Nemo.
2:35-2:40 someone actually did upload footage of Learning with Nemo here on RUclips
I don't have any xbox Consoles I only have nintendo and playstation consoles
I have to agree with you the Xbox version of Finding Nemo is definitely the better version to play.
I didn't know that the PC version isn't the only version
Only game my dad bought us I never beaten. Also never touched it in years
Awesome video as usual, I like this movie too, I’m surprise that it has games and tt games did it (because I never played it), but they made toy story 2 so I don’t need to worry too much
I managed to finish this as a 6yo kid. idk how some of yall couldn't XD the ddr sections in shark tale is what gave mini me a annuerism
This movie turns 20 today. Feel old yet?

The game looks like a bloody dreamcast game 😂
I don't know how that's an insult exactly? Dreamcast holds up pretty well and had some decent hardware to boot. If you don't believe me just compare the gamecube and dreamcast versions of the sonic adventure games, they are more impressive on the dreamcast
PC GC version has lower load times
I could never solve the puzzle parts man.
This game use too freak me out cuz its outta know ware jumpscares marlin getting eaten by the angler fish getting shock to death and the angler fish appeares outta know where
Ps2 version is the best hands down
I had the pc version
First
Could be worse, at least it's not a minigame collection for the Nintendo 3DS!
this game was totaly bad
it was hard as hell
how could they have done that for a kid game ?
