Blind therapists are amazing! The best massages I got were usually from blind therapists.
When I was in Taiwan they had this whole section at the underground mall that was blind massage therapists. They all worked together and they just did chair massages. The guy that I had didn't speak to me at all, but he found out my shoulders were tight and that I had knots. The massage was so painful, but in the best way. I felt so good afterwards.
Is there a strong cultural taboo of someone seeing your body? Or does some other factor drive this trend?
Often it's government sponsored/encouraged to allow blind people to have jobs. It's also just a good employment for blind people in general

There was a time when I was financially well off where I would get a deep tissue massage twice a month, there was never pain after but I felt so light and flexible right after and when I was going twice a month my stretching improved significantly. Shame I can't go as often anymore due to circumstance, but I'll do my best to reach that point again.

А в наших санатория разделяют массаж спины на три части,воротниковач зона,средняя зона и поясничная часть,от такого массажа ноль эффекта и протяженность времени не более пятнадцати минут! Вот этот массаж высший пилотаж и азиаты это делают добросовестно!!!
Надолго ли хватит рук массажиста при таком массаже?

Нужно делать снизу вверх а не наоборот, с шеей нужно быть очень осторожным
Согласен, хотя бы после четырех-пяти разминаний против хода лимфы сделать несколько выжиманий по ходу к ключице. И по шее да, такое разминание на такой деликатной зоне чересчур жёсткое
