This is interesting. From this I also get that relying on a pawn to protect a piece might not be solid play if the piece is taken resulting in double-pawns. Better to have a piece protect a piece in these situations. Again to minimise movement of pawns until the end game? Let the pieces fight the opening and middle game and leave the pawns for the all important promotion in the end game? I like your style of teaching which for me hits a sweet spot, of not being too useless information and not being too complex or advanced. I sense that you teach with your students lower-than-you capabilities in the forefront of your mind rather than posting just to demonstrate your own great skill. Some vloggers are strong and entertaining chess players but for me they don't seem to hit the sweet spot.
Yes I try to always teach and write in thé easiest possible way so even beginners can understand it. I am also creating free courses with increasing complexity for advanced players
