Nice project. Plenty of space inside for different types of wtc and ballast system.
Glad you liked it!
@@juanggprojects how much infil did you use?
@@coast219 It does not really matter, as the hull is thin enough that perimeters fill its volumen. But I would go with 100% just to be sure.
@@juanggprojects thanks.
Do you have any close ups of your magnetic couplings? Interested on how these work given the curved nature of the wall of your wtc. Thanks.
Like the music being played. Where can I get?
I don't know where I got it from. Search for "submarine sonar sounds" or similar. I've changed it just to be safe in case it was copyrighted which I don't know.
I don't see the cabin drawing. Maybe the shared file is missing
I must have missed it. I have fixed it now.
@@juanggprojects Where can I download the fix
@@longthanh8091 See video description. The GitHub repo is more complete.
There are no files to print the control fins
There should be now. Thingiverse is acting strangely lately. I don't know why. All files are also on GitHub, see description.
What type of printer do you use.
It's a P3Steel, as seen in 1:04. It has gone through a few upgrades over the years.
what kind of motor did you use?
I got the motor from an inkjet printer. They are nice for this because they give high torque at low speeds, so no gearbox required. It would be relatively easy to fit a different motor, particularly a smaller one.
@@juanggprojects what is the check valve for
@@Thomas-cu3he Se the diagram at 0:20. The pump leaks a bit when switched off, so a check valve is needed to prevent air escaping to the WTC through the pump. This way, you don't have to keep turning on the pump to keep the sub afloat.
What u use for the wtc
Please follow the links in the description, there is more information there. I used a convenient re-usable water bottle. You'll have to find something suitable and adapt the design accordingly. Good luck.
@@juanggprojects where u get the bottle from I'd like to try and find same one
@@gavinwilkins5466 I bought it at a local shop, try searching for something similar online. Or you could do it with an acrylic tube of some sort. Good luck
@@juanggprojects Hello, it's a glass or plastic water bottle
@@DerRCModellbauer It is a plastic bottle.
