That looks like our queenfish. I actually love queenfish. Great seared and I even like to make sushi with them. We’ve got them everywhere so if you like those you always got some food.
It took me about 6 months to even find a spot here in Thailand. Now I’m throwing fish at friends and family these days. Always gotta pay the dues and then it comes at some point.
The not so successful days is really the truth about hunting anything. So many social media posts would make it seem that success is always the outcome, when in reality its only well curated editing. Kudos for showing the reality of life, and in any case I thought this episode was as enjoyable and inspiring as all the others. Love your work👌

So i developed my own with practice and feel i have a unique style now and I’m still progressing. I’m only a few months in 😆 I also stopped watching him a long time ago to avoid any accidental influence. Thanks for the support either way!

It definitely is but you don’t have to “start out” expensive, theoretically all you need is goggles, a polespear, and reliable lungs lol That’s how the OGs did it at first. I’m from Cali and there’s photos of the pioneers in speedos with a big goggle and a trident pole or a just a gun. Yea you’ll be cold asf and only dive for like 30 minutes but that’s enough time to snag a good bug or fish sometimes
Drop the flasher bro the flasher that you’re holding in your hand is designed to resemble a fish. You look like a predator in the water so when you have that flasher in your hand and your wiggling it around, you look like a predator with the fish wiggling it around instead drop that flasher and then the ono will compete with you to get to that bait before you do
