Tanks do so many little things that you don't even see in game. A game can be decided simply by your tank face checking a bush instead of your squishies. Little things like that go unnoticed. Hopefully by the end of this series anyone who watches it will be a pro at tanking
Another great and useful video in the 'how to tank series'. Seeing Mei against a dive comp was nice since that's the kind of team you'd be trying to draft her against. I'm surprised you didn't go with Heavy Pack at level 1 when against both Samuro and Greymane. Is it because you need Ice Storm to get at least some wave-clear or something else?
I was so excited when I saw that comp, I knew it was going to be a fun game. As for the lvl 1 talent, I go ice storm for a couple of reasons. 1. the extra bit of damage makes enemies fear going anywhere near Mei because they are scared of taking a ton of damage and getting stunned. 2. I am putting all my other talents into getting more Blizzards to spam out so it is nice to have that ability feel more impactful in the fights. 3. I simply don't like the Snowball ability for Mei, I find it hard to land and that it doesn't fit her kit very well. That's my personal opinion, Heavy pack is still a very good talent and if you plan on going Blind build I would definitely say you should pick it.
Loved the butcher this game. Wished the naz was more careful and focused more on soak and late game, but he still got mvp, so can't ask for anything more. On your Mei gameplay, excellent conservation of resources and timely use of skills. A+ gameplay
It's always a fun game when you get a butcher feed! I can't blame Nazeebo too much as he is a very easy to pick hero especially with that kind of enemy team. I really don't play a lot of Mei because she can be a little dull to play at times, however after playing her for this video I might play her a little bit more
Have you tried full Q build on her? It will completely nullify any auto attackers and provide constant slows and harassment. Also very useful for sieging because you can disable structures. You could also go in with the slide first, then use the blizzard to zone people out. It's a lot less risky combo and still highly disruptive. Very strong against melee heroes with the CDR talent when you place it around yourself. Overall she has really good talent diversity which makes her a lot of fun
I honestly suck at landing Mei's Q. I find it to have a weird timing and I don't think it fits her kit very well. So to answer your question, yes I have played her Q build but I personally don't like it's play style. With all that being said though I have been dominated by Q build Mei's more times than I'd like to admit haha
