Cracking guests on this. Too lads. Good golf. This channels got me back into a game a loved as a kid and teen. As one of the twins said, women come along, booze etc. It’s lovely to get back into it. I tell you who don’t get enough recognition in golf, the grounds staff/green keepers. Absolutely stellar job they do in all weathers to deliver us these courses. 👍🏻⛳️

Watch all day, it’s quick, you take a quick glance and get your yardage. There is nothing worse when your playing partners, stop and start trying to zap a flag and then get nowhere near. I think the range finder adds pressure to your shot whereas you can glance the watch without been seen so less pressure in my opinion

If I may offer a tip for tubes that helped me. With your irons take a couple of practice swings bruising the turf 3 inches past the ball. It’s helped me a LOT! Good luck 👍⛳️

Love these videos. What legends The Phelps are too! I think rangefinder for me, only used it a couple of times from my friends having one and I found it better than my own watch.

I love the channel watch it every time you bring out new vid. Just would like to ask why don’t you play more links courses, I would love see the bull dog round links. I live opposite royal st Georges. Sandwich. I’m lucky enough to play it couple times year. I’m a member at Walmer and Kingsdown great course tricky. I think you would have a great round at royal cinque Ports. Very hard they have had the open there years ago . I no you have played princes, just be good see you play more links golf
I personally use a watch for my ranges ,with a rangefinder im zapping everything but the flag shakey hands lol

Another great video from you boys👍🏻 on the question of watch or range finder, I use both. He watch to give me an estimate for front & back yarda and en the range finder for accurate distance to the flag. Keep it up 👏🏻
I use both watch and range finder, gives you clarity.
Also when trying to zap a bunker carry or a tree in the distance. I know some watches give you bunker distances but can zap the top for the complete carry as they don’t show the carry just show how far it is away.

You asked about a watch v range finder. I use the Garmin Fenix watch. It's accurate because it uses satellites for distances.

Got to come over to Australia, have been in Melbourne for 15 years and can’t beat the sand belt courses, played Royal Melbourne as a tourist and loved it, can’t play now as a resident as they are pretty exclusive but am sure you could wrangle something boys

Use the watch and club to the back of the green. Most of us don't hit the full distance of the iron and should drop short onto the green.
Most try to hit a shorter club too hard.
