But his wife that was under his control shot the master the doctor pleaded for the master to regenerate but he refused and he kept pleading and pleading and pleading but eventually the master died and now the doctor was truly alone in the universe so the doctor burned the masters body and never looked back. some time later the doctor reunited with Donna then the 3 continued traveling Wasn’t able to finish the rest
He looked so happy in his first season (maybe because of Rose idk) but you could see him slowly turning more sad as the seasons went on. And the last few episodes of season 4... well just depressed

my favorite Doctor is the Tenth Doctor and the moment he became my favorite is when, in the episode “New Earth” he choses to SAVE the mindless artificial humans instead of killing them like anyone else would. He chose to be better for their sakes since they were all still innocent people. That is when I realized that he is not a hero with a weird box, but a good man that has gone to hell and back for the universe and who, once in a while, when the stars are aligned and everything is perfect, is still a kind man at heart.

Moffat ruined tenants whole arc by bringing back Gallifrey and then doing completely nothing with it. Infecting his trend of being to much of a wimp to let people die on an era he didn’t even write 🙄
I wouldn't say Tennant's whole arc solely relied on gallifrey being back or not but ye moffat did major fuckity wuppity with gallifrey, even with bringing it back he could've done much more with it to make the comeback seem worthwhile and now it's been completely destroyed again for some random reason
James I meant arc as in character building. His whole personality built on the paint and regret he faced, the guilt, the lonely god, hating weapons and hating war and doing his best to solve the problems with words. And then the further loss he faced, his reluctance to get too close to people like Jenny because she reminds him of everything he’s lost, and then the brutal pain when she was shot (and then brought back to life never to be seen again because Moffat suggested it of course), his bond with the master, his pain when he died, sparing Dalek Caan because he didn’t want to commit another genocide, the guilt around Pompeii, the waters of mars, the timelord victorious, the end of time. All of this is now retroactively pointless because Gallifrey was chilling at the end of the universe all this time. Actually taking a look at Moffats influence and the people he actually kills and keeps dead is actually shockingly laughable. One of the only people he genuinely kills is Madame De Pompadour and that’s only because history tells us she died aged 42

I think part of the fall of this show is that it’s lost this disintegratingly heavy gravity, this depressingly realistic macabre; when you’re the only member left of a species of billions, a species that can control the principles of time and space themselves, you’re not going to have it easy. You will be a solemn, forgotten warrior, who keeps trudging through the mud because you can’t stop, or you’ll sink... but others still join you, and you try and warn them but they still drown. Enough of the show trying to be “woke”, enough redemption arks, enough bland plot design, bring back the grit that this show deserves. The pain that pushes it further.
