Funny thing is, the outer edge has the most volume, it would surprise me if its 35% or more, is like filling a shot glass, top of the glass holds an awful lot next to the rest
Which really supports the idea that it's a human skull stretched. The whole head is being pulled back and that's elongating the zygomatic and and frontal bones, making the eye socket shallower.

That's because that elongated skull shown here is a deformed human skull. See the marks left by the fontanels. The distinction according to Brian is that Paracas skulls apparently void of these suture marks. A possible hypothesis is a genetic abnormality in this population of people cause the skull in some to not expand laterally, forcing the skull to grow elongated. This deformity is then mimicked through the act of skull binding by others in the group.
This is exactly it. This guy is way off because he still thinks these skulls are a small sample. They are EVERYWHERE in large numbers. Hell the native cultures specifically say they were genocided. This guy is the worst detective
Medschool fucked up my left and right perception in relation to body parts. When he said the skull on the left, I was thinking about the modern human skull, cuz we always have to showcase organs or body parts by the position they are in our body. So my POV automatically went to the skulls on the screen.
Honestly looks like a smaller eye socket due to the back of the eye socket being compressed. When you fill the socket of the elongated skull the play-doh has a convex curve aka its over flowed. And when you use that same play-doh in the regular skill it fills it flat to the edge of the socket. So that means theres more space in the regular skull eye socket than the elongated one.

it looks like the eye sockets actually shallower and the bounded head more of the Play-Doh fit in the normal head
Bros head is on swole mode 🤯
The altered skull socket seems more shallow which probably made the orbital bone kind of flare more outward and open. I could see the orbital bone being 50% larger than normal. It's almost like an optical illusion. Same Amount of space, different Shape of space.
Was hoping someone would say this cause how he tried to measure if it was the same was just not scientific😂
@@nicholasisabelle1558but even though the shape is different, the first was packed full and the other eye area was pretty much (if not all the way) full. Then in the second one he easily put the whole thing in, without packing at all, as the socket wasn't full. If you put the same thing inside two objects, in then the one with more internal space left is clearly bigger
Yup second this comment
if it's the same amount of space then the orbital bone wouldn't be larger.. volume doesnt change. there also is no 'orbital bone' its instead a way to refer to the general eye socket area
@conan4real the containers are shaped different but hold the same amount of volume. Sorry that I don't have a doctorate in skeletal anatomy to be perfectly accurate in the vernacular..... but if you would kindly pull your head out a tiny bit, I'm sure you could understand that I meant the opening of the orbital cavity could be larger..... which it absolutely could be when the skull gets manipulated like that and still hold the same amount of volume as the non manipulated skull. Again, different shaped containers holding the same amount of shht. 👍
The skull on the right looks chill af 💀
Bro was trying REALLY hard to make them fit
You didn't pass 6th grade geometry class didn't you?
@Prizm17
It's the same volume of play dough. If the the elongated skull had "50% more volume" as the idiot claimed, the ammount that fits into the elongated skull would be pouring out of the normal skull. What you see in actuality, is there is even LESS volume in the elongated skull, as the playdough sinks in further on the Normal skull. Then again you probably think the pyramids of Egypt were built using sound waves or some other stupid shit like that, so I don't know why I bothered to even explain.

This guy: is this an alien?
It's missing the 3rd suture all humans have in their skull and the volume of the cranium is definitely bigger. Body modification can p ly do so much, ut it can't take away sutures and can't make a bigger skull.
He never claimed it was an alien
@@cateatfood6634 so a bigger skull and missing skull sutures = not human?? most people have 5 fingers if we find a body with 4 is that an alien
@@cateatfood6634 it’s most certainly a human and even if it wasn’t it’s most certainly not an alien. An alien would not look THIS much like us, in fact it wouldn’t look anything like us because it would’ve evolved on an evolutionary path completely separate to the evolutionary timeline on earth, as well as having its own environmental conditions it would develop different adaptations
If through some miracle of convergent evolution it were to end up looking anything like a native earth creature science tells us in all probability it wouldn’t look like a human, it would look like a crab

It looks like the sockets are a little smaller on the elongated skull. But I would argue that if you can change the volume of the whole skull, why is it surprising if specific parts.
The thing I find most interesting about the skulls is the missing sutures on the growth plates of the skulls that is extremely interesting.

The elongated one has smaller sockets, because binding pushes the inner bones and sinuses together putting strain on the eyes and reducing room in the sockets

Which really supports the idea that it's a human skull stretched. The whole head is being pulled back and that's elongating the zygomatic and and frontal bones, making the eye socket shallower.

he just casually owns an elongated skull
This is like measuring wood with your hands
That's because that elongated skull shown here is a deformed human skull. See the marks left by the fontanels. The distinction according to Brian is that Paracas skulls apparently void of these suture marks. A possible hypothesis is a genetic abnormality in this population of people cause the skull in some to not expand laterally, forcing the skull to grow elongated. This deformity is then mimicked through the act of skull binding by others in the group.
This
This is exactly it. This guy is way off because he still thinks these skulls are a small sample. They are EVERYWHERE in large numbers. Hell the native cultures specifically say they were genocided. This guy is the worst detective

Now I need a short on how to make the home-made playdough.
You just need: Salt, water and flour
and how to 3d print some different shape skulls. Both of them look like the plastic halloween skulls from home depot
