    so what do you think about the changes being made around the world? Many countries and now implementing the 'no shielding" rule. Saying that shields make dose higher.

      Great question! I'm in agreement with the AAPM that shielding presents numerous problems - mostly in regards to infection control - and can be eliminated for most diagnostic x-ray exams.
