I'm seeing a lot of people talking about not being able to keep up with who's who, and other people calling those people racist... And they're wrong! In psychology, this is a phenomenon called, IIRC, “outgroup homogeneity.” We think that people from other groups look similar to one another. For example, people might view Asians as having very similar features to each other while seeing their own group as having very diverse features, while Asians might view Americans and think all Americans look the same. And this applies to all groups regardless of who, not just Asians and Americans.
While your explanation is true, there are a certain group of people who don't care and will still label it as racism because they want to find problems where there is none and they have a binary perspective of society; people are either oppressed or they're the oppressors.
Many of the comments are racist, not all but many.

Man, it is so weird to me as an old guy how entertainment works now. If i want good, unique and well structured stories, you have to ditch American Media. Our stuff is so boring and almost always has some form of messaging (guess what type of messaging) embedded in it. Also it seems the west is allergic to pretty girls or, certain genders. South Korea keeps making bangers like this, or Train to Busan, or Squid Game...the list just goes on.
The American film The Substance looks like it's going to have a unique premise. And good, old-fashioned Cronenberg-esque body horror.

@@2BDPODCASTOFFICIAL The point is the car is not very common in China….. common sense will tell you a Porsche will be more common in its place of manufacture. Just like here, a charger or challenger will be much more common here than anywhere else.

Not really. it's proven that people of different origin typically look very similar to each other to others. A lot of people believe many Americans look the same for example. Another extreme example would be how we might view all of a dog breed as identical, but they can clearly tell the differences in one another.
I'm just saying, if people get confused when trying to differentiate between characters, it isn't racism, it's their actual brain.
