If you look at a Marisa main like BigBird, he uses parry a lot to steal turns back and cover some of the character's weaknesses like anti-airs but that requires a lot of experience and knowledge on how/when to parry.
While its true that drive parry is very different to 3S parry, like 3S, its still going to become more or less required for lower tier characters to use parry to overcome being low tier. At least IMO.
Y'know... I appreciate the editing out of Nephew's 2 perfects against that Ryu and just keeping in the tense parts lol. Too many videos of pro players just goin off, this is much more entertaining.
