The entire recording taken in context is so much worse because you see how hard he tried to deescalate and end the fight and she refuses to leave and keeps goading him to fight with her. I feel like she wanted, he ordered, an Uber in the very beginning of this recording. No wonder why she didn't want his driver Travis to take her home. She couldn't fake wanting to leave with someone she knew, she had to stand up the Uber to come back and harass Johnny...TOXIC TOXIC
If the jurors don’t give him anything, I’m going to need explanation because this is giving me and I’m pretty sure a plethora of people a ton of anxiety for him. This is too much. When you think you’ve heard it all, there’s so much more.
When he said "You really wanna do this?" I can't tell for sure but it seems like she put her hands on him. Whatever the case, I could see in my mind the scenario that played out in their marriage over and over again. She would provoke through taunts and tirades, finally laying hands on him which forced him to respond. Even if just trying to get away, anyone who has been in this position knows you both walk away with injuries. For women, we can just scream abuse and say his injuries are from you defending yourself. I've seen this so many times growing up. He was fucked. Damned if he didn't, damned if he did.

I think she was purposefully tearing him down, pushing him to do drugs and drink until he went insane or died. She had a plan. She underestimated him. I also think had he not had other houses to go to, her plan would have succeeded.
I agree completely! I am certain that she was planning to push him to the brink so that he would need to escape one way or the other. I have no doubt that she would have allowed his death to happen and would have taken everything from him in the process as his widow. The more I hear in the recordings where she's insistent that she can see his "eye balls" or trying to take off his glasses so he has to look at her, the more I understand why he vowed not to look at her again, not to let her "see his eyes ever again". That must have been a go to move for her, a way to control and assess how well she was manipulating him. It's how she stayed at the center of attention and had power. When Johnny swore she'd never see his eyes again, he was taking his power back.

I forget where but someone posted this audio without the text. I think there was a portion of her just walking around and background noise before the “dream” talking began. It was discussed that, allegedly, AH kept liquid substances refrigerated (Ghb and ketamine) and it was put in drinks. It’s been alleged in this circumstance by others which may or may not be true. But the thought is terrifying.

The reason she tries so hard to convince him that he needs to stay and talk it out is because the more time someone spends away from their abuser, the more likely they are to realize what's happening and break the spell. She wants him right there with her so she can control him.
My brother's 2nd wife is exactly this woman. He missed my daughter's informal wedding ceremony because his 2nd wife broke out in hives and just couldn't be alone for a few hours. Then a few months later, this woman called my daughter on the day of her formal wedding ceremony and said they may not make it because my brother had to go to the hospital. She was lying and thought telling my daughter this was funny. She has always tried to make every situation about her. And the only reason we don't confront this woman is for my brother's sake.

I believe the jury has access to all the original uncut audio. So Any cut audio that was used in court as evidence is accessible in full by the jury. Some of this audio was used in the closing argument so yep. I hope they listen to it. they have access to.
I’m pretty sure they do. They used small cuts from this video, both sides during testimony so they would have had to submit the full audio in to evidence to do that. The very first thing I would have done, if I were a juror, once I got back into the deliberation room would have been to listen to ALL of the audio recordings. I really hope they are. ThTs pretty much all they need to decide on who was the abuser and who was the victim. Unimpeachable evidence.

When he says “you will” in response to her telling him he won’t find better (common phrase abusers use)- I feel like he believes it in that moment. He can’t be what she needs despite trying his best. The most interesting part is her threat in the middle. "I'll call the police, and you don't want that to happen". When he then says "*i* will call the police" and she goes "oh yeah, do that, lets see how that goes", its basically the entire "tell the world, Johnny, and see who believes you" in a nutshell. Since we can hear the context of what happened up to that point, this is basically her openly threatening to call the police and accuse him of stuff that we know did not happen because it's all on tape. I was dreading her coming back into the room... As hard as it is to listen to, there are 2 adorable parts: "send me a picture of a pumpkin" and "Johnny falls asleep".
Amber literally thrives on the dysfunction and drama. She creates it. She wallows in it. This is why she gets angry when Johnny leaves instead of staying and fighting. And then he had to listen to her say in court, repeatedly, under oath, that she was taking pictures of him "passed out" (aka sleeping?) because she "was trying to help him." It's so hard to listen to someone telling outright lies about you, and for him to endure that for six weeks without having an outburst.... I wouldn't have joined the circus outside the courthouse but am glad he had those supporters there, his witnesses, and his excellent legal team backing him up.

The way she taunts him and says he isn't making sense when she woke him up,I do that all the time!! If I am super exhausted-which he clearly is, and he even said at the beginning that he was tired-but if I doze off when I am that tired and get woken up a few minutes later, I will either try talking as if I hadn't just been snoring away-usually trying to keep the last conversation I remember going,or commenting on the tv show/movie I dozed off watching,or sometimes I don't realize I actually fell asleep and was dreaming so I think what I was dreaming about was really going on and will blurt out weird stuff like he did about James Dean/James Brown. But she even tried to use that against him as if he was drunk or messed up when he sounded way more sober than she did during this whole recording and he even said that she was drunk and showing her liquid courage at one point. If you are in a chronic pain for a chronic emotional pain or physical pain your body will shut down to protect itself. Alcohol wouldn’t have enhanced it more but it just drop off that fast is a definite sign that there is some form of pain that Johnny is experiencing. I chronically have that instant sleep due to chronic physical and emotional pain, one moment awake and Than asleep. The one thing that really stood out to me was when Johnny said "Would you like me to walk you out"? If I am super exhausted-which he clearly is, and he even said at the beginning that he was tired-but if I doze off when I am that tired and get woken up a few minutes later, I will either try talking as if I hadn't just been snoring away-usually trying to keep the last conversation I remember going,or commenting on the tv show/movie I dozed off watching,or sometimes I don't realize I actually fell asleep and was dreaming so I think what I was dreaming about was really going on and will blurt out weird stuff like he did about James Dean/James Brown. But she even tried to use that against him as if he was drunk or messed up when he sounded way more sober than she did during this whole recording and he even said that she was drunk and showing her liquid courage at one point. I definitely wouldn't be surprised if she was either feeding him drugs or slipping them in his drinks, and she absolutely didn't help him stay away from alcohol!! He testified that he asked her to refrain from drinking and doing drugs around him when he was trying to get sober and she refused!

In the end of this video where he passes out or falls asleep it’s a coping mechanism. If you are in a chronic pain for a chronic emotional pain or physical pain your body will shut down to protect itself. Alcohol wouldn’t have enhanced it more but it just drop off that fast is a definite sign that there is some form of pain that Johnny is experiencing. I chronically have that instant sleep due to chronic physical and emotional pain, one moment awake and Than asleep. Listening to this audio is heartbreaking because she came over there to his place and when he didn’t give her what she wanted which was a reconciliation then she attacked him as brutal as she could get in talking about him being a dad to his son went way over the line! He hit it on the head when he called her a narcissistic.
