this band is so underrated, they can’t produce one bad song
Only band I know where on every album there isn’t a single skip
Honestly I just sat here thinking for a minute and... I can’t think of anything I skip on this album. Most albums I like, I listen to maybe 3/4ths of the songs. But this, you’re right, zero skips. Wow! They’re just so good!
Everytime i watch interviews i cant get over how much of a drummer the drummer is 😂 he just looks like he doesn't gaf everytime 😂🤘

I can't believe that I started listening to this band only now with the third album ... But when I bought it, the next day I fixed the mistake and bought the two previous albums!
Got quite depressed when this song came out as I fell in love with it very deeply and decided I wanted to have it played at my wedding next year (Covid permitting). Then realised that only Conor can sing it so..can't have it. God damn you Conor and your angel-sent-from-heaven voice.
I’m thinking Impossible for my wedding next April, but this song is maybe my favorite to just... jam to. 😅 Congrats on the upcoming nuptials, and I hope you and yours can stay safe. 🌻

I really like how it’s so self-aware about how self-serious it is. It’s fun to sing to very dramatically. I also really like the alternate version, which feels like the flip side. “Yes this is toxic, and awful, but I can’t let go of it. ‘It won’t go away...’” Really cool.

Me too; I’m so curious. It’s so lyrically dense and is just top shelf. The first verse alone plays on words and disorients you, when you realize the “stars” aren’t in the night sky, but celebrities. Just another way to put people off balance, in a really shifty song. I’m so curious to see what they’ll say!

I think it’s awesome. I’m always so curious about the background of the songs, what goes into them. I’m so glad they do this!

That version is so trippy. It really is the other side of the coin, the toxic regretful side that’s still holding on. Really interesting duality there.

It’s a very meta-love song that immediately felt like it was a lost 80’s track. I love when they push the envelope creatively. One of those bands where every single track is just solid-fkn-gold. 🤙🏼

This was by far my favorite song that they've made so far. It just sounds so surreal, and it's so easy to get lost in. It's a song that's so powerful and dynamic that I listen to it to feel like I'm on cloud 9, but I also just cry to it because it just hits in all the emotions.
And I have never made a comment on a song like this before, it just goes to show how much I genuinely love it.

This one took me a bit to warm up to because it felt more bland than the rest of the album, but once I really understood the intentions behind the lyrics, it became very very enjoyable, it must be a good one to hear live
