How to clean antique bottles with muriatic acid....STEP BY STEP.

Just thought I'd share my video to show you how to use muriatic acid to clean your old bottles. This is the best way to clean your bottles using household chemicals. Be safe, wear eye and skin protection, do in an outdoor space with plenty of air circulation.

Sorry if you said and i missed it,but how long do you leave the bottles in the acid for ?

Maybe an hour. If there are rust deposits it takes longer. There is no limit on time. I've left bottles in there for 2-3 weeks just because I had other stuff I was working on. It won't hurt the glass. Usually though, whatever is on the glass besides rust will get taken care of pretty quick. Muriatic acid won't take care of every stain though.....
