The KILLDOZER Rampage of 2004…

  • Air Force veteran and Granby newcomer Marvin Heemeyer relocated to Granby, CO with dreams of creating a Muffler Shop chain. His plans were derailed, after logistical obstacles and fines found their way into Marv's mailbox. The 2 acre- Granby property Heemeyer purchased, was wanted by one of Granby's most successful family dynasties.. and after years of legal battles, Marvin Heemeyer lost the fight. The Granby good ole boys took a section of his land and ran him out of business.
But Marv was far from over.
Over the course of a year, Marvin Heemeyer modified his Komatsu D355A bulldozer into an indestructible machine.. He added armored plates, insulated with concrete, to create a tank like shell over the cab of the dozer.
On June 4th 2004, Marvin Heemeyer drove through the doors of his secret warehouse in the Killdozer, seeking revenge on all who wronged him.

That was the city liberals and probably the family dynasties too. They wanted to teach people a lesson and make sure nobody would ever remember what Marvin did. Because if they hadn't destroyed his Komatsu, that dozer likely would have ended up in a museum or some other place as a piece of that town's history. They are not too bright, because no matter whether Marvin's bulldozer still stands or not, the whole town of Granby and its future generations will always remember what happened that day.
It would be a great idea to make June 4th a national holiday and call it 'Marvin Heemeyer Day', in celebration of his fight against the corrupt families and city officials.

RIP Marv. This is what happens when they take everything from a honest hardworking man.

Marv is a true hero. He took the anger and frustration that any of us would’ve felt if caused by a greed driven town and turned it into a reality of his own creation. His work of art. His revenge. This man wasn’t a criminal. He just had enough. And I hope that town is still suffering from that lesson.

He was a coward and a criminal, hence the reason he took his own life instead of facing the consequences of his actions!

What you just described is a criminal. If you steal medicine, you are still a thief.

@@brandonwilliams6221 What I just described was a hero. He illegally destroyed that greed driven town to prove a valid point against the cruel people that destroyed him. Just because you break the law doesn’t always make you a criminal. That’s what they called him for causing all of that destruction. But he was still just an ordinary person just like us. If you were pushed to your absolute breaking point, would you act in revenge and consider yourself a criminal? I wouldn’t.
