In order for achieving the most optimal state of awe humanly possible, try DMT.

What the mind's eye can deliver, as apposed to video monitors, can only be manifested with the use of DMT.

I have a narc in my life who claims her every motive is altruism, often literally saying that her entire life is motivated by the highest good, yet she has alienated every last member of her immediate family, and believes that it's because everyone misremembers their interactions with her. She literally believes that this demonstrates her righteous course in life, and that her whole family has turned against her due to her pursuit of selflessness. It's the most maddening and frustrating self-aggrandizing and self-supporting twisted logic I have encountered. She will do things on the surface that seem generous, all the while calling attention toward and over-exaggerating these actions. I am at my wits end as to how to cope with this person.

@Michael. I never used the words "normal" or "weakness". Those are your words and both concepts that are much too ambiguous and subjective to even begin to analyze either one. There was never a vote taken, things organically evolved over decades, there was no grand conspiracy as you imply if not suggest outright. This isn't about being right, it's about one person who has alienated her entire immediate family in addition to much of her extended family. Yes, humans can be wrong. Yet if quite literally every last person who best know you all arrive independently and over a natural progression of events arrive at the same conclusion, are you suggesting that they are all wrong and the one is right? I think you should take a long hard look in the mirror. Clean your room, speak truth, stop lying, stop valuing self-righteousness over negotiation and cooperation.

@Michael, actually, you DID use the word "normal" and talk about "weakness" and then strongly imply and suggest bearing a striking resemblance to Cathy Newman's "so what you're saying is..." debacle. Oh well, not everyone is self-aware enough to be honest with themselves, to stop lying, to speak truth, to stop saying things that make them weak, and to value truth above self-righteousness.

Competitive virtue signaling seems to be an increasingly common, quite insincere endeavor.

Anyone out there have a pick-up truck? I`m moving this weekend to Washington. I dont have a license + I sprained my tendon, but I`ll drive it if you do the lifting & rent it. That sounds fair to me ...

I laugh so hard yesterday watching the videos worldwide about “physical removal”.
This answers what people think of them.

Certainly at the moment one is in awe, he or she is distracted from the self and is likely to behave more altruistically. Just like good behaviors are more likely to result from a happy versus unhappy stage. The question is how to translate this fleeting moment of awe into a lasting impression.
I don't think that generosity per se is a good indicator of altruism or the absence of narcissism. A show of generosity can be great entry into the limelight or illicit admiration so strongly craved by narcissists. It's the intention that matters.

At 9:23 the (vertical) scales do not start at zero, which exaggerates the differences between the three bars.

Watching drops hit milk in slow motion induces no awe comparable to encountering God in the True Faith and living with the Messiah as guest of your soul.

You, in your myopic dogmatism, fail to see that the slow motion video is yet another manifestation of God's infinite wisdom, that we can see God right within it.
