Hi. Was just wondering do u put a base coat on your nails before adding base colours and nail art?

I personally do not because I prep them by buffing the surface and then wiping with alcohol. I’ve been doing this for 3 years and have never once had issues with the gel peeling! I’ve learned that base coat isn’t necessary when painting on artificial nail tips and really just comes down to preference if you decide to use it or not! 😊
