good strat, but you missed some tricks . you can DS (dash slash) apparitor and get in two hits at the start of the fight, you can charge DS to get more damage when he beams right to left and charge the regular slash when he beams to the middle. in progenitor phase 1 you can parry the flame pretty easily, so you don't have to split the stage. you can use charged shuriken to open him up without getting pushed back, so you don't get smacked by the screaming projectiles attack. for progenitor 2 there's no winning strat apart from popping the master bubbles, buy destroying the spikes from the spinning blades can stop you from falling on them. other then that. great stuff!
Thanks man, the last couple of levels really kicked my ass and I'd heard the final boss was taking people up to 2 hours, I just wanted to beat the game at this point and this video helped me beat the boss in around 30 mins!
Great video! Just one addendum: in the last part of the last fight do not shoot the purple beam immediately. Wait like a fifth of a second for more spikes to appear so you can clear them all out. Otherwise, you tend to get trapped.

I was struggling with the spinning blades. The second one always seemed to hit me when I would try to slash him. I just stood in the middle of the screen and used the down attack to shoot a fireball up to him and it was much easier.
Amazing game! Just finished it this morning whitout parrying😆 its hard at times but not unfair. The last part of platforming in the game is limit unfair but still manageable. Thanks for the help here!
How to get healing pickups to drop after Apparitor? I got it twice by chance. I also read vague comments about aforementioned health items. But I can't figure them out. Thanks for the guide.
You have to fight him with honor, which means not hitting him in the back during the fight; if you do so, he'll drop health every single time. It's a nice callback to the first fight with him imo
dont care any more gave up at the final chapter ,the pogo sword moves does not work ,this game forces you to use the dash the parry and the pogo all 3 dont work well !!

That is all it takes, and that could not be easier. And the reward and strategic implications far out weigh the incredibly minimal risk. To NOT use this tool is absolutely juvenile
The point of this vid and strat was to develop an easy consistent strategy without flashy tech for people having trouble with it. That was literally on the thumb nail of the video.

You can use the parry/seeker ability to get rid of flames that stick into the ground. Especially if they land in an area that's very inconvenient.

4:30 you can also press forward when next to the flame and it will freeze so u can Slash it away. Forgot what the moves called.

How do you make energy come out of appirator after you kill him in phase 1 I done a few times just can’t remember what I did 🤷♂️
You can charge that upwards fire then it moves farther and probably can hit the boss at the last stage.
One thing about the first part, when you kill this guy quickly, he sometimes drops some health.

And there’s also times he drops it when you do hit him the back so i think it’s either random or you gotta do something
He drops it for me after killing him quickly even with backstab spam.
