Ingredients Needed:
I used (2) quarter pound 80/20 ground beef patties, (2) slices of thick cut bacon, fresh deli cheese (use your favorite), fresh sliced onion, tomato, pickles, mayo, ketchup and mustard. Of course, use a good burger bun.
Directions:
Begin by cooking your bacon and then put your patties on once your bacon is half way cooked. This burger smasher is so thin the patties will cook quickly. If you're using a smasher, place each portion of ground beef on your griddle and then smash each for 10 seconds using parchment paper and a smasher. Once you see color coming up the sides of the patties and juices collecting on top, flip each patty and place your cheese on top for melting. Once done, build your burger with your desired ingredients and ENJOY!

Wow. This is your everyday backyard fare but without question you have elevated this into something special. I like the fact that all the food was cooked right on top of the bacon grease. I am going have to retro fit my gas grill to have a nice flat top like you got..... Since I am from South Louisiana and cook with black pots all the time I can season a flat top really well....

Yes, I’ve got plenty of burgers planned and I will be using different cuts for sure. Hard to find them in the stores locally and I don’t have my own meat grinder yet lol. Only thing I saw wrong was you only put down 2 strips of bacon, I would have put down at least 4, 2 for the burger and 2 for me to snack on while I was griddling! LOL Love your channel!

Burger looks great, but please do a video where you only put cheese, tomato & avocado. Avocado leaves an ultimate creamy flavor that displaces so many other unwanted ingredients. Just a suggestion. Hi mike , I am a total beginner. I tried this today with the new Blackstone hamburger press. They turned out charred and pink in the middle . I had my temp on high. Any advise? Thank you again , all help is appreciated
Try going medium high on the temp. It will help allow them to stay on longer while still giving the crust. I’m also unsure how thick the Blackstone press makes the patties. I use a different Smasher.
