We stay at Royal palm apartments and walk down the hill but walk back a different way and avoid the hill as we come out by the roundabout by Mongolian all you can eat buffet

we have being going to teneriefe sur for years the 2x bedroom roof top rooms ar e best
Stayed at port royal just up from Bella roma restaurant at the roundabout. The apartment was nice but it's much higher and tougher than walking to castleharbour. Any updates on castleharbour looked online and I've seen it advertised as castle margarita now. Heard management company gone bust!
One thing I'm quite surprised about is how clean Tenerife is compared to England. I've been to Poland & Latvia & both of those countries are clean, cheap & nice to explore but this time I need sunshine & sea ☺️

Oh Kev. I loved the Sol Arona. Yes I was top floor. Breakfast is fine. I paid a whole week all in for 800 quid so you cant knock it mate. Double that for arona grand etc so if on a budget sol arona is fine pal.
I stayed in the Hollywood mirage start of november that hill is ridiculous 😅 theres also steps up so pick your poison still loved the holiday

Been trying to search and book for next year Kev,thanks it wont be there. That hill would kill me.
i love it up there John but the hill is steep, lots of people get taxi back up and few of the hotels have shuttle buses i think.
It's worth noting Kevin that you can hire portable aircon in Tenerife. Obviously no good for you as you only book one night. But your viewers might like to know. Ask at reception of their hotel and they will help. We hired one €120 for two weeks with a €20 refundable deposit.

Stayed in Paradise park. lovely roof top area with small pool and jacuzzis. Nice room Food terrible.

Kev...I always enjoyed your stuff but I cannot agree witht the pasting you have given a hote we have spent 6 very good holidays in....about 110 a night with half board of massive selection is very fair...and as for the arona gran prices are way up the scale but it is spectacular by contrast....I think yor one night stand got you bad taste...so now go all the way up to the hollywood and be left in limbo loneliness......we are in the Sol Arona right now and it is great...it is the weather that is crap
Thanks Steve sorry if I upset you I was maybe a bit grumpy I have a video talking about it tomorrow. My big issue is the rooms depending on how hit it is you can't sleep in so 117 a night is not far off the arona gran on some dates but it's supply and demand I know that. I can only give my honest opinion the staff are nice, location good and pool OK. the Hollywood mirage is far superior but the hill is a killer lol.
