All this "women is power" can be shut down with 1 very tight lid on a mayo jar.
Nonesense.. I help train, arm and insprire ALL women to be an ARMED populace. Your Mayo jar can be easily shut down by the business end of my daughter's Rifle! ;) Sit down, cow poke.. you're no daisy.
@@discojelly and you’re no cowboy, courtney
I like strong female characters as much as the next person. But "strong" doesn't mean beat the crap out of all the men, which is unrealistic.
They could beat the crap out of you
@@smaakjeks LOL probably true
I could be wrong, but wouldn't *Queen* be the correct title for this film?
Nah, too feminine.
No
When you're not afraid of being a slaver.
I love strong women who aren't afraid to fix me a sammich. That takes real courage.
A school with no STEM programs?
Just programs for badass women, I guess.
Ha, that's funny
Ooga booga
It's very "African", I have to say.
from an American point of view...
Another woke movie, that bombed maybe ppl don't wanna be woke when they are watching a movie.. lol
Difficulty level - Impossible: Define woke without revealing that you're a fascist.
Woke=garbage. There, I fixed it for you. Nobody that's in America under the age of 40 has ever met or even known of a fascist. The word now has no meaning.
@@smaakjeks it just means progressive without prejudice
@@predzoru that's a good thing, though
@@predzoru LOL "without prejudice" that's a good one
Friendly reminder: that movie portrait as good guys the people who historically was slavers till the frenchies tells them to stop with guns.
Not much different from 300 then.
@@smaakjeks I loved the scene in 300 where the French showed up. Tardo
@@TheNecessaryEvil Ah yes, because whether or not the French feature in a movie was the crux of the OP's concern trolling. Hand-holding time, I guess:
The movie 300 featured Spartans as heros of democracy and free folk, when in reality they were also slavers.
Do ya get it now, sport?
@@smaakjeks but the descendants of Spartans today aren’t building their entire lives whining about slavery then enjoying a movie where the protagonists owned slaves, sport.
@@TheNecessaryEvil How many women from Benin have you encountered that whine about slavery?
Low diff 13 🇫🇷
I wonder if all the people praising this movie know that the tribe featured in this film were slavers. They literally dominated other tribes and took them as slaves and sold them. You're literally supporting slavery but claim to be fighting it.
So, like all the people who support the confederacy today, then.
I am amazed this movie was not successful... gosh... beyond my WOKE understanding... OMG this is such bs...
Like the woke movie Terror On The Prairie? $800 in ticket sales lol
@@smaakjeks lol - you are joking... did some frat party turn up for giggles, beers and popcorn?... lol
@@michaelschmidt1101 What? Anyway, this movie is based in real events. There was an all-woman army protecting the kingdom of Dahomey. Every single one of these soldiers would kick your ass.
@@smaakjeks this movie is as much based on real life events as 300 is an accurate depiction of ancient greek warfare. Yes, there was a women army in dahomey. But, they fought to keep slavery in place as it was how their kingdom worked. Not since the europeans came but even before that, in fact the europeans at first tried to capture slaves themelves before realizing they just have to buy the slaves already captured during the internal wars of the continent. When the europeans later decided to forbid slavery (mainly the british as hard as it is to admit for a french like me), the king of dahomey stated that he would agree to any propositions by the europeans except to stop slavery as it is the essence of his kingdom. When the french army came to stop the practice of slavery, the women army of dahomey faced them and it was a massacre, there are only about 2 or 3 recorded deaths on the french side. So at this point, this is not based on real events anymore, this is a completely fictional world and any attempt to promote it as having any historical value is a complete lie to promote a woke version of history based on ignorance of what happened and will to impose little stereotypes and boxes to tick to make things imple instead of trying to understand the complexity of our history
And before you start responding nonsense, no I'm not saying europeans did not participate in slavery, no I'm not trying to put all the blame on african civilizations, I'm merely trying to present the historical facts, it's up for you if you prefer to face them or to dismiss history
@@docomega7862 "this movie is as much based on real life events as 300 is an accurate depiction of ancient greek warfare."
In other words, like almost every movie ever based on historical events.
"to promote a woke version of history"
Define woke.
what the hell happened to the lady who made this lol
She got kidnapped by ISIS.
This type of anti men fantasy where women are tough and beating up men unfortunately is all the hype today. Until the lights go out for real then they can't need a man fast enough. Look at the bear grils episode men vs women if your interested in reality
