To the grandfather, Chris's dad: It really doesn't matter how well you and your wife treated Corey or how well he was doing in school after you met him. Your pathetic psycho son abused him, tormented him, beat him and ultimately killed his 6 year old son. Those facts are not in dispute. Your positive effect or influence on Corey is not related to time your son should be sentenced. How did your son turn into the monster he is? Have you asked yourself that question?

No child should be legally FORCED to be with anyone they are fearful of and don't want to go with. Children can sense and know the difference between safety and danger; love and hate; care and abuse. Regarding his age when he gets out, usually no one hires a middle-aged former inmate. That is why I have stated that his life would not be a good one (if he gets out alive from prison). I agree that justice in jail is a better answer to his crimes.
After all of their pleading and heartbreak this judge sentences him to only 25 years. It's deplorable
Why didn’t anyone step in after seeing bruises all over and especially after seeing him write “ I die” that’s ridiculous they kept sending him back there ,,, I don’t care if they called CPS ,,, my son wouldn’t be going back there period
He would after the police came and took him from you + then you lost all chances of seeing him for breaking a court order.
Yes but where could they hide the child that Chris's father a decorated state police and homeland security officer wouldn't find them? It would have been reported all over as a parental abduction and then he would have gotten full custody, no visitation. It's easier said than done.
🥲
don't forget, Christoper's dad is a cop, which is why the judge went easy on him
No excuse
Was the sentencing addressed in this video clip cuz I did not see it.. I skipp around a bit though
absolutely you are right $$$$
@goverlord- I listen to what Christopher’s father said. It’s like he was trying to sugarcoat the situation about his son harming the child.
Stupid loser cop father
DCP&P needs to be taken to court for their egregious neglect and incompetence!!
What a beautiful child! How could this man do this to his own child. Just Heartbreaking! RIP Corey!
prison justice, PLEASE kick in.
What a creep! He can't even look at the people talking to him or about him. Crocodile tears!
Absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking he only got 25 years and not the max. What a disgraceful sentence by this judge.
I don’t know how, but we need to put more value on a child’s life! We also need to make DCFS and judges, who allow them to keep giving children back to an abusive home, responsible and held accountable for their part in a child’s death!!!
The Gregor Grandfather is another Complicit, narcissist, who severely in denial. The poor boy is DEAD… their is no nothing else to say☠️
Not a good look, grandpa blaming the victim
and he thought he could actually hold his own court to bash bre....very vengeful to try to do it on tv when people in every corner of the earth know about this case
So sorry for this innocent little boy
It’s sad that Chris’s parents still don’t understand that they hold responsibility it this case too. They had to have seen Chris being to rough with Cory. Yet the only thing they are worried about it how they were made to “look” to everyone else. It’s sickening.
His dad makes my blood boil
Chris’s father should not have been allowed to speak! Nothing really about Cory, all about himself !!!! Your Son killed your grandson!!
I really feel for this little boy's mother and family. I really hope this man will somehow not ever get out of jail. He doesn't deserve to walk the earth as a free man
Mother and her family were just as bad.
They also feel sorry for themselves, too bad they feel nothing for that little boy.
No need. Brianna does enough “feeling sorry for herself” and playing a fake victim card for the entire world. Not enough accountability taking
How the hell did the system fail this boy. And just 25 years??? Continued fail by our system. Sickening
Omg this grandmothers letter is making me cry
I would like to see the family court judge that denied the mother’s petition for custody of Corey prior to his death removed from the bench. He is also guilty.
Oh my God, Christopher's dad is relentless. He just wants to continue torturing the Micciolo family. Every Gregor is trash. This judge is such a pansy for letting Chris' dad speak. What a joke.
The defendants father said Corey was diabled...wtf ? How dare this judge let that bs go on...he called his grandson emotionaly disturbed ? That is horrible. Did i miss that, was he was diagnosed as such? ... he's got alot of nerve, his own son is the one with issues, that man is an A-hole he doesn't deserve to be called a grandfather. 🤢 🤢
The the kid was running scared into a closet with just the thought of his father. Why on earth was he still being looked after by him
His father’s careers helped them get full custody of Corey after 4 years of not knowing him. His father’s career made all the attempts from the Michello family were trying to do to protect Corey fell on death ears. The only thing they could’ve done to stop Chris was to kill him.
People should listen to their children, when they fear someone!!
👿👿👿👿👿👿
They heard, but unfortunately the system wouldn’t let the people protect him!
Can’t believe this monster only got 25 years but it makes sense his dad a cop - this system is not fair
Omg, I'm crying, just looking at those beautiful photos of Cory, whilst his "DADDY" sits there emotionless.. So so so sad.💕💕
Oh my God! That guy has been smiling while all those people were talking on the stand, like it was funny!!
I don’t see the smiling, but I do see tears that are just for himself. I also think he is a monster and should spend the rest of his life in prison.
It did look like he was smiling at times.
I wonder if his mother and father sat through the victim impact statements.
His dad supported him 100% - probably paid for his expensive lawyer. His dad also refused to watch the treadmill video.
25 years is nothing, he will be out in 12 years on good time behavior and classes, that’s how corrupt this government is, the system is truly Broken!
@@kate1830 There's also the real possibility that he won't make parole. The parole board requires that an inmate accept full responsibility for their actions. Chris will never do that.
I'm glad you cleared that up!! I was a bit concerned when i read that he could get out in only 12 years!!! That would be a joke of a sentence after what he did!! That man is a monster!! & He'll find his kharma in prison where child murderers are not tolerated by the general population. The family can take comfort in knowing hes going to get what he deserves!! @kate1830
Corey had a premonition of his death. Sue the state of New Jersey! This sentence is not justice. Appeal the judge's sentencing!
Too little too late GRANDPA! Shut up & sit down!
He only has his head down because he's smiling while everyone is talking. What a monster!!
Psychopath
FAKE TEARS FROM DAD WHAT A COMPLETE TERROR OF A FATHER.
Not once did this man speak to how sorry he was for his actions with his son! And his father, head in the sand, no accountability and apology to his grandchild and what this his done for that child’s mother and family. Just unbelievable, there is a reason why for Gregory’s narcissistic personality, it starts with his father. RIP Cory❤
His father does not realize what an absolute fool he us making of himself! The judge should have shut him up!
This man’s grandchild, only grandchild was killed by his son. How dare he get up there and defend his son and family for the bad price they’re getting and how one sided it is. It’s a fact his son killed your grandchild deal with it and apologized everyone for the pain. Its caused them and-shut up and sit down.
God only knows what this little Child went through..You will Rest in Peace now little man.💙 💙 💙.
Yes, no one knows what this child went through. The mother is not innocent. She chose drugs getting high, rather than cleaning up her act immediately because of her son. I know addiction, my family has lived it, but there is no excuse, no excuse for putting drugs before your child. The grandmother was more emotional than his mother. All is not angel wings with her.
@conniemillard7362 It doesn't matter what she did, she did not deserve to have her Child taken from her so cruelly.
@@taraann7753
God only knows. And God also knows that this child had enough of this cruel world and had to leave to a better place with better ppl
What a Beautiful child, you will see him again..
This is so heart breaking
Father and grandfather suffering from the same delusional thinking. I wonder if the grandpa treated his son the same way, and that’s why he thinks his son was going a great job.
The father ruled with an iron fist. Chris never met his father's expectations. That's where all his anger comes from. Deep inside, he knew Chris abused Corey. He claims he couldn't look at the video bc he didn't want to see Corey being mistreated (paraphrasing).
@@helenfong3339 yes and in "that single instance" bs....crock of sh!t
I would never let my child go with a man that beats on him. No friggin way!! They saw the bruises and didn’t intervene?? I didn’t watch this trial but as a Mother I would never release my children to a monster.
The mother would have end up in custody if she didn't release him , I blame the judge who imposed this on the mother . By not rendering her she would have lost full custody. Do not blame the mother , blame the court system and the lousy man , cause I can't call him Corey's father . He is to blame .25 years is not long enough !!
Chris didn't want Corey to live, period. Not from the moment he was conceived. Chris saw to it this kid was going to die because he was angry that the mom didn't get the abortion. I hope he suffers in prison.
I agree with you, and they did want to protect him, but they would have gone to jail if they didn’t let him go.
@@dominiquehould8981I agree, i would not be able to let my son go with him and close the door and hope he comes back alive. The mom and grandma should have protected him more, not take him there
Then fine I would have gone to jail period . You don't back down just cause of that.
Never would I have let my grandchild go back to an abusing monster. I can't imagine how his little heart felt, trying to reach out to those who should have been protecting him, and no one did. This was preventable!
Yes I completely agree and was my first thought if any child came to me and plead for help and I see evidence of them being hurt! It’s a wrap I’m snitching or whatever they wanna call it. But that baby wouldn’t have went back under my watch
The life of a very young child taken way to soon from the person who was supposed to love him and protect him
Chris used CORPORAL PUNISHMENT on Corey!!!
I am crying! This is soooo sick! My heart cries out sympathy for this family! I’m sorry!!
25 years is a joke. The honorable Judge Matthew Kacel should of been the Judge of this case.
What does the grandfather think was Corey's cause of death? If Chris didn't kill him, then who did? Cognitive dissonance at its finest.
Your son is a monster, your fault I’m sure!!!!
How this ridiculous System allowed this man keep the child? How? What a shame!
what breaks my heart is how any adult can look at a tiny person and be ok with doing something like this to them
Why did the family members not do something to stop this? Why?
They tried to, the state government failed him along with many other children in the country.
because the law would have granted the father 100% custody and given the mother supervised visits. There was a court order. She was forced to hand Corey over but they were trying all they could to get the judges and CPS to listen!!
Corey's mother, Breanna Micciolo, repeatedly sought help from the authorities to protect her son from his father, Christopher Gregor. Despite multiple pleas and evidence of ongoing abuse, her emergency custody request was denied on April 1, 2021, just one day before Corey was tragically killed by his father.
Judge Patrick Bradshaw from NJ AND the DCPP are responsible for failing to protect this child and forcing Breanna to submit her son to an evil man.
You should all send letters and make calls to get Patrick Bradshaw investigated.
To address concerns regarding Judge Patrick Bradshaw’s handling of Corey Micciolo’s case, you can file a complaint with the New Jersey Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct (ACJC). This committee investigates allegations of judicial misconduct.
I think Chris is the way he is because of his dad. His dad is a liar. He saw all the bruises but he didn’t do jack about it.
36:11 you can see why chris turned out the way he did! bcz his dad is always there trying to back him up & help him out. your son was WRONG !! your son isn’t perfect & if your kid did wrong there should be consequences !!! he’s the kind of parent that shows up @ school yelling at teachers if his kid got in trouble 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Where the hell was CPS????? What the hell do they get paid for?
They ignored not only Cory’s mom’s reports, but also teachers’ reports. It’s insane!
Didn’t the start of Corey having to be in his fathers life because Brianna applied for resources, which prompted the state to go after birth father for child support? If I’m correct in stating this, I sure hope there are changes made in the system to not force a child to be a part of a parents life because of this… Why the F did they make him visit his dad with all that bruising and what Corey was saying? Why not cut off visitation until investigation is complete to protect kiddos? I don’t f”n understand not erring on side of utmost caution. I’m sure they must have reported these things that Corey was telling his G Ma. How helpless to know he was being hurt and they HAD to abide by court law!? Why wouldn’t safety override? How utterly disgusting that these poor people had to endure not protecting him over a piece of paper. Sickens me.
This is the system we’re living under, many children has suffered because of state government wouldn’t listen to the children. I would have recorded him saying everything.
That beautiful little precious boy. Beaten to death after being abused for months by his father!
My hearts broken.
Brianna. You are a strong strong woman, and my heart breaks for what you have had to endure. You and your family are in my prayers.
Funny how Christopher's father said corey got a bloody lip from a soccer ball. Who told grampa that? The killer?
Right, why even mention that. The boy was murdered by his father and had been repeatedly beaten him before.
That grandpa didn’t express any remorse or any last words of sympathy goes to prove that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.
They will definitely give him royal treatment in prison! Those inmates do not like people who commit crimes on children!! We will see how tuff he is in prison!!
Another child the system failed.
25 yrs Joker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of a judge 😢 Custody or NOT if my grandson hid & had panic attacks said he didn't want to go with him NO WAY Would I let him go with the monster
Sorry they all failed Corey the professionals & family 😔
While I agree with you, the family would be arrested because they didn’t have custody because of the law and professionals that gave him back to an abusive family!
Guess they were thinking more about themselves than little Corey.
Yor son was the cause of your grandsons death why has this man not the common decency to shut his mouth you helped bring this monster into the world so you should at least accept some of the blame .This was an innocent child
I’m convinced this father was extremely harsh to his son. And his wife turned a blind eye. He is rigid and uptight to demand to speak to clear his families name. But his son did not want him to speak.
Please please please SUE THE STATE AND THE STUPID JUDGE THAT ALLOWED THIS MONSTER TO HAVE CORY EVEN WHEN THEY KNEW HE ABUSED HIMMMM! EVEN IF YOU LOSE AT LEAST THEY HAVE TO GO THROUGH IT!
this grandfather is the very reason Christopher is the way he is & i am sure this grandfather is an abuser as well, have you see Christophers mother she looks abused as well
and like she spent most of her life at the bottom of a wine bottle
No pictures of defendant with Corey??? Very telling.
Should've been life without parole
All because he didn't want to pay child support.
What a beautiful boy Cory was and what an emotional hearing! 😢 I'm in New Zealand and had tears rolling down my face listening to his mum and grandma. I'm so sad for their loss.
No child should be legally FORCED to be with anyone they are fearful of and don't want to go with. Children can sense and know the difference between safety and danger; love and hate; care and abuse. They know and they should be listened to before it's too late; as with this case. The whole time this monster's father was speaking, all I could think of was that horrible video! That evidence of brutality and total disconnect with his son can never be refuted. I was convinced when I saw that, that it couldn't have been a one-off incident. Cory kept his distance as they walked out of the gym and looked scared.
Why did the video cut off just before sentencing?! I hope he gets everything he richly deserves.
can certainly see why Christopher Gregor is the way he is judging by his Narcissist father..
Im balling listening to these victim impact statements. I can feel this grandma's pain. God bless their family and Lord please let that precious little boys soul rest in peace. He didn't deserve this.
Gma's statement was the most impactful victim statement I've ever heard. 💔
