If peace is to restore in this state, both the parties should stop thier demands(meiteis st demand and kukis seperate administration demand). Meiteis are living perfectly without any benefits of qouta for many decades, almost all the state government officers are meiteis, they also have the largest number of government employees in our state. With all the development and job opportunities in valley, meiteis doesn't really need qoutas. There are some poorer section within meiteis too, but, that is nothing compares to hills people. Almost 90% of hills people are poor, they are surviving only with basic needs. If the meiteis wants to shift our state capital to hill district and brings all the development to hills then there demand can be meet.
Kukis demand for seperate administration is something that can only be a dream as of now. Demanding this will only drag the ongoing war to further extend with more bloodshed and resulting in nothing. They don't want to live in meiteis land nor do they want meiteis to live in their inhabited areas, that's fine!! But meiteis are not the government, you can live completely fine in your districts.
The communal war between these two communities are effecting the whole state. Because of these two, the rest are also suffering. There's a shortage of basic needs supply and banning of internet is affecting in many ways. There are many people doing an online job and they are at the risk of losing their jobs. Those who are preparing for specific job exams will also lost one precious year of their life if the internet in not unban on time and if they fail to apply form for the job. Will the the government and these two communities compensate for the lost the other communities are suffering? It's been one month, and there's enough suffering. It's time to stop this now and bring peace to our state. Many have lost their properties and living homeless, many innocents have died, what do you get out of this? Enough is enough!! If any of the two communities doesn't want to withdraw their demands and keep this situation drag further then, all the other communities should join hands and kick out the community that is burden for the rest!!
