With the snow and freezing temps, Hugo could use a warm doggie coat and doggie boots. So his paws don't get frostbite, it can happen anytime and fast. Awesome family time

Where I live in Michigan, USA, we have had little snow the last few years. This year has proven disappointing if you like snow. I do. I also shovel walks around my house, up to the burn pile and always my driveway. When doing so around the house I try to pile it all in one place so I can make an igloo. I miss that. And, every year I must do a sled down the back hill. Glad you are having fun and visiting more. Lots of work. Food looks great too. And Hugo is an amazing doggy. I just back from a winter tent camp in northern MI. There was snow but not much. :( I walked the beach looking for beach glass and fossils. Thanks for your videos, I love them.
When I lived in Colorado mountains, I used to stay up all night and every hour go out and shovel the one foot or more which accumulated in my driveway in an hour. We might have 10 feet to 20 feet per night. Skiing was great. Now, I live on beautiful Vancouver Island where one sees palm trees. When I came in 2012 we had no snow, well maybe a dusting in our area in Victoria. But holy moly come I think maybe 2020 or 2021 snow began to appear, no longer a dusting, but 4 or 5 inches. Unprepared, everything closes. Ferries don't run. We didn't even have a shovel the first year the big surprise arrived. Now we have all winter stuff, with fond memories of my time in Colorado. But Siberia - well that is off the charts insofar as cold and snow/ice goes. Tires come as large as some minivans.

The dog was lifting up his paws because they were too cold and frozen from running in the snow too long. Should have put him on the sled a bit

@@user-gi7iv1eo7r In Colorado I got little boots for my dogs as the cold really bothered their paws, as does the hot cement, concrete, asphalt, tar, burn their paws. Get shoes or boots if your climate dictate your dogs' paws are suffering.

Just to let you everyone on a tip to start a fire, "even with wet wood, not kidding" !!!!! My dad did this every time we went camping. No struggles at all. ROAD FLAIR! Yep, you heard me right. Simple, everyday road flair. They burn hot, and even under water. Put your wood like you like it. Wet or not, IT WILL BURN! Light your flair toss it in there, and walk away. Neatest thing I ever saw, and easy for EVERYONE!

Ребята и девчуля, привет с Южного Урала! Только сегодня утром про вас вспоминала и вот, пожалуйста, ваше видео на канале.. Переживала за вашего Хьюго..он тогда , на дороге, от усталости присел? Вот ведь животина, нет бы как путный, в волокуше доехать..так нет, на своих четырёх..Ну, ничего, мышцы прокачал.. Хорошо там у вас..Красота..Лес...Снег..Домик и печка..А макароны я , кстати, тоже таким "ленивым" способом делаю.Молодцы! Пусть всё у вас будет хорошо!

I really like it. Relaxed, not too much talking and everyone makes what needs to be done. I enjoy. One thing in both eastern and American “off grid” videos that I note is that in Sweden we always cleave the fire wood we need for the winter already in spring. In my cottage I use to make sure that I have at least three years of ready wood to use in the wood stove and in the stove to heat the bedroom. In both eastern counties and in the states you splice the wood when needed. Just a noticeable difference. Well done! I follow you. Welcome to visit me in Sweden in my cottage in the middle of our forest.
Here in eastern Europe we stock wood in the summer for the winter because sun will dry out the wood and then the wood burns better and don't produce that much smoke and chimneys are not cloged for the next season!

In the southern states in the US .. there are many that are country living for generations.. they keep a stockpile of wood seasoning for use. There are tree cutting businesses that sell off there extras and people buy it up and ready it for their own storage
