@Runnabl3-ed I was leaning towards the Asic. But after watching this comparison video, I think it's between the Saucony Pro 3 or Adidas Pro 4. My buddy just PR'd in the Sauconys; and you mentioned they are a bit more stable. Which would you choose or suggest for a Marathon? I'm a mid to forefoot striker.
Saucony Pro 4 are a safe choice for your first Marathon, I did my first Marathon in the Nike Invincible’s because I just wanted to finish. These days I’m aiming for time goals, and this is where a shoe like the AP4 is invaluable. Do you have a time in mind, that would help me answer your question.
Can't run in the Sky shoes.. Much better for me is the Edge 🎉. I am a heel striker and slow runner and I think the real difference between the Sky and the Edge (all years) is that the Edge is actually for heel striker and Sky for midfoot / Forefoot.. ASICS tried to complicate it by saying Cadance vs Stride.
I have run six marathons and so far the best ones were in Alphafly. After testing Adios Pro 4 in a long run, Iam sure It is better than Sky Paris (very good half marathon race shoe) and Alphafly 3 (great marathon race but not durable and not as confy as Adios Pro 4). My Next marathon will be in Adios Pro 4. Amazing content! Thanks
Welcome to the Channel! The DNE3 is a really good racing shoe, I think for me the foam is slightly too firm for a full Marathon and I would reserve it more for a half Marathon distance, but for those a little heavier, who compress the foam more than I do, it could be perfect. Lovely shoe, just prefer the Sky, Edge and the AP4.
Love the reviews with 2 different shoes. It's the best comparison. Also show we are crazy 😂😂😂
Yes! It is the only way to really tell the difference, but i look ridiculous when I’m running in them.
What a great, informative video that answers the exact questions i have! Great timing! Keep up the good work.
Thanks you so much Matthew, glad it was useful.
Two of the shoes I'm looking into! Looking for my first marathon racing shoe. Awesome review brother as always!
Thanks mate! Hope you find it useful, which shoe you going for?

@@Runnabl3-ed my goal is around 3:30, which may be a bit cavalier. I would be happy to finish under 4, but I'm definitely shooting for lower.
I think the Saucony Pro 4 would be a good choice, quick but nothing to crazy in terms of how aggressive it is. Good luck with your Marathon mate!

Thanks Ricardo! I’m a big fan also, and it could well be on my feet for London and New York this year. Good luck with your next Marathon mate 💪🏻
@ Iam going to London too! See you there!
That would be amazing mate, will let you know if I plan to do one of the Saturday shakeout runs also!
Hey mate. How about ap4 vs DNE3? Which one do you recommend for a marathon?
New sub here!🎉

😆 i love it mate! Another great review!
Asics harder maybe little faster, adidas softer and more comfortable/
Good Summary! Although I find the Adidas shoe just as fast if not faster.
It all depends on your running style. And what you like in a shoe.
@ - Correct, this review is really just a guide, everyone has different requirements when it comes to running shoes.
