Welcome to Planet Crafter. Planet Crafter is a space survival open-world terraforming crafting game. Transform the ecosystem of a hostile planet to make it livable for humans. Survive, collect, build your base then create oxygen, heat, and pressure to make a brand new biosphere. The fact that the meteorites busted through the cave roof was so cool!
I love this video, but wondering what happened to Drae saying he should make multiple bases? Like near things he needs to explore...
Like placing small bases near those bases or in between his base and those places he needs to explore, kind of relays where he can store supplies that he can then ferry back to his main base.
But yes, I would love to see more of this game on this channel.

I started this game in demo. A word from the wise, explore before you get too far. Also collect tons of materials! Also, power supplies such a solar panels dont need to be connected to your base.
Frustrating watching Drae talk about "what am I gonna drop" and then immediately consume water or oxygen freeing up a space 😅
Not to mention dropping a water when he could have used it since he needed it at that time. It's a shame but i guess it natural when you are constantly fighting for time to go around.

1 drop a water bottle to free up space
2 drink it because you need it and free up some space

The game has piqued my interest. I liked the cave, very mysterious.
Huh it is interesting. I like how you are terraforming it to suit you though you don't know what is hidden around either, good or bad. For whatever reason I had some No Man's Sky flashbacks at moments here. May end up picking this up down the road when they flesh it out more. Thanks for the video!

FYI. There's a golden chest on top of the first ship you went in, the one on the hill next to the ice cave. You'll like what you find in it. Maybe a plant that gives 600% oxygen :)

That nuclear reactor you found is how you beat the game at the end. The fusion energy cell is what you put in there at 580 GTI to fully terraform the planet

This is Subnautica minus the "sub" and minus the "nautic" but there's nothing wrong with that, it looks great. I really hope there's some sort of creature enemy. If there isn't then once you get a better oxygen supply it would get old real quick. Even if they add heat, cold, corrosive etc dangers it would just add places to avoid and grind of making protective supplies for those areas. That meteorite shower looked really cool but in the long term it doesn't make a compelling hazard/foe. Either it will have a pattern and the player will know when to stay inside or it will be random and that would just be annoying. Random falling rocks shouldn't be the most regular cause of death in any survival game. I don't mean to insult it since we don't know yet. It really does look great.

Drae I swear if you don't stop dropping water when you're low on it to make room for another resource, you can just drink the water and make the room instead of losing 2 waters. Same thing with oxygen.

This game looks eerily similar to the style of Subnautica. Not in terms of the ocean theme, but in terms of the mechanics. Like how the planet is almost sick and you have to go out to wreckage and find things so you can build.
Keep it going, it's a good game to watch! Bit longer would be great too

This is just an alternate No Man's Sky. Very similar. It actually really seems like a combination of No Man's Sky and Subnautica.

You need to move your base to a safer spot, somewhere uphill bc if you terraform there’s gonna be water where you set up. So you might wanna change that. I love this game tho so please have more fun and play more of this please🥰

There’s a mobile game called “Terragenesis.” It’s of the same vein as this game (terraforming), but you control things on a global scale and have to deal with economy, politics, disasters, and sometimes terrorism as well as the terraforming. You can actually “win” without terraforming, though, as the main goal is achieving independence. I will warn you, though, the game runs when you aren’t on it, so you could wake up to a planet with far too much heat, or too much water to the point everything was flooded and destroyed.

Ah yes, a wind turbine-powered base, on a planet with no atmosphere. Makes perfect sense.
One thing I find concerning is that those other planets or moons in the sky are concerningly close.
This game is Subnautica mixed with Astroneer and I love it.
