Coppers can't sit outside clubs & pubs but they sit down the road & the back streets drivers use. Every cop car is a RBT & a cop can breathalyse any driver at any time without cause. It's something that majority of us don't mind as it's keeping us on the roads safe. I find it amazing that the US still uses Field Sobriety Tests, an ancient form of testing

On one of my first 'nights out with the lads' we went to a Hot Spot 100k's down the coast. The carpark was probably 100m x 700m with 2 entry/exits. When we came out, there were cops at both exits doing RBT's and RoadWorthy checks (MOT)

'A bit swearier'. Scandinavian languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian) are all very similar. I remember one time hearing my mother try to explain, 'Swedish is the same as Danish, only it's swearier', which is how you pronounce Sverige (the name for Sweden) in Danish. Yep, Australian English is like regular English, just Sverige.

Out of interest Kabir, on Fri 9.2.24 and Sat 10.2.24, the police closed down one of Sydneys largest motorways the M5 in a testing blitz of 22,000 people. During an RBT, no one can get past without having a breathalyser and they block off exits as well. 87 people (0.39%) were caught drink driving. 1100 random drug tests were conducted, of which 91 (8.23%) were positive, mostly for cocaine or meth.

Not only are the RBT booze buses usually out in force on Friday and Saturday nights just around the corner on the main thoroughfares away from popular pubs around closing time to breath test and drug test potentially hundreds of drivers under the influence but they have also been known to sit on the main roads into an industrial or commercial area early on Monday mornings or after a long weekend to catch drivers who are still under the influence from the night or days before. You should see these booze buses in operation. It is a major process with up to dozens of police participating. They can have up to about twenty to fifty cars stopped and queued up at a time with the initial test for each driver only taking a few minutes after which you are free to go if you are under the limit. If you are over then the process takes quite a lot longer and is much more expensive.
It has been claimed that the fines resulting from these RBT operations are a major source of revenue for the various State police departments.

A drunk women crashed into a car outside of the house i said why isnt the drunk being arrested they said they cant lock you up for being drunk , im still horrified the drunk hit another car assaults the cops the Lady drive told ambo to fu off im still shocked the drunk women was allowed to to keep swearing hitting cops for an hour and they onky took her puppy im still shocked
