i only have photos (about 25) which i took out of boredom from window while covid isolating in a hotel ... a few of moon rising ... and i am thinking of selling them as nfts ... a couple other from remaining may have art value ... i fail to see how an ordinary citizen can have "value" in his artwork or photos
Marketing it in crypto communities and crypto twitter helps to build up that hype. Having a small reputation with those groups can go a long way too.
It's not a scam it's just that people buy and don't do research and place value on something because everyone else is doing it. I would say it's more stupidly rather than scam as you are getting what you pay for.

Dan art doesn't have to have a unique use case to give it "value." When you buy a Van Gough painting you don't get access to some kind of unique video game or yacht club.
But this guy actually painted it. The most paintings from this time needed a few years to finish and a complicated process to produce and mix colors. But I get your point.
That's true, the point of this was that most projects have no value and are super quick cash grabs. Most people try to invest to make more money, but end up losing money on a worthless picture. So just some perspective for the "get rich quick on NFTs" crowd

If you call selling an art for money a scam, then you should also call art galleries house of scam too. It's the same thing. Art is invaluable really. The value of a thing is what people are willing to pay for it
